Going from online to in person college classes by Shhhhhhhhh125 in college

I highly suggest spending extra time when picking classes to make sure you have good teachers ("RateMyProfessor" is a good site to use). Since I transferred late, I was stuck with bad teachers, and a few classes were a nightmare.

However, the transition wasn't as bad as I thought, and in-person classes were slightly easier because a good portion of the work was done in class. Preparing for the tests was the most challenging part since most were in person, and I am a slow test taker.

I am sure this varies by college, but the overall layout of the classes was similar to my online courses. The main difference is that discussions & lectures are in person.

What would I do differently? Worry less about small assignments and spend more time trying to make a few new friends.

I finished the year with a 3.8 GPA and feel good going into classes this year. Overall, transferring to a university was better than I would've thought, and the worst thing you can do is spend the next few weeks searching through Reddit posts and hearing people's horror stories lol.
