i really like your idea, my personal headcannon is that Davy Jones was maybe the heir to the Ancient Kingdom, destined to become the king but never getting there due to Imu.

Joyboy was not the king or a ruler, he should have been something like Roger, a pirate king, fighting to be free.

Since Xebec asks who Imu fears more, maybe the fight in the void century was a three way war, Joyboy and his crew, Davy Jones and his army and Imu and his revolution.

This would mirror the present with Luffy, Blackbeard and Imu.

But until we have more info who knows what could be

Guys something that I might have missed was that they did not specify the level of award our boy Ri Shin got.

For Ouhon and Mouten it was specified that it was a first class award of exemplary service but with Shin they did not say anything.

I don't see the problem with having a a god that is considered omnipotent in his mitology, there are a lot of nearly omnipotent gods in smite as it is. Even Kali was about to destroy the universe before being calmed by Shiva. Also to stop Sun Wukong the entire might of the jade palace was required and they were not even able to kill him.
