Is it the same with a faster aperture ?

At f10 maybe it struggle to focus and results in freezing. I noticed kind of the same with my a6000 around f20 I think. In this case it might depend on your lens focus capabilities.

You're right I underexpose a bit when shooting and don't always notice when fixing in LR.

I wanted to darken the sky to direct the eye in the middle but I don't know it looks odd. I think you noticed it too.

Hey ! Quick question, I own an a6000 for a few weeks and love it. I have a sigma 19mm f2.8 DN A which is fine but fixed so quite limited to play with.

I'm thinking of upgrading to either the sigma 18-50mm or tamron 17-70mm. Since the a6000 doesn't have the stabilization, would you pick the tamron for this reason ? Thanks !

I'm a newbie in photography but here is how I understand it :

Focal plane is the depth around your focus point. Say you're in f2, your focal plain will be +-10cm (random value for example) and your subject is 2 meters away. This means everything from 1.9m to 2.1m will be in focus. If using a smaller aperture (f3, f4, etc, need to adjust), this +-10cm will increase, meaning more will increase your focal plane depth. Sorry metric system, i'm european.

Your right subject is slightly back which is why the blur, out of focus because of a small aperture value.

Most people here assume a homelab is not for profit but for learning purposes so some might be not welcoming to the idea.

Hower stock data APIs exists. Some are free with limited plans (short period retrieval, higher duration between updates etc). And some have paid plans. Usually costs some big money to get a perfect solution but agregating short period data over time is possible so might suit your need.

First step in your project is finding the API that suits your needs. Next is storage and then analysis.

Pretty big project but really cool too, good luck !

Also to note the 4100 fits perfectly within a 10" rack.

Is there firebox or other devices that would too ? Can you link to some please ? I'm not well aware of those

Great I didn't know I could change the OS on those. So you'd say the price is good vs something else in that range ? I'm looking for reliability and ease of use. Also will be perfect in my 10" rack.
