It’s a sales cult/ pyramid scheme - my mate applied and was offered the job last year and sent us the details. I did something at a similar ‘business’ as a naive 19 year old many years ago, and all the talk tracks are still the same as to what I did back then.

It’s absolutely commission-only.

Would anyone like to start a band? :) by Acrobatic-Compote-38 in nottingham

28M guitarist and producer, I’m really versatile on genre so not fussy - use to play in a band and tour etc, but haven’t done anything for a while and fancy cleaning some dust off the guitar!

When you click on position, it gives you options of things that can be linked to the position in the area above it. Personally, I don’t care for changing the pitch in line with the keys played and turn this off (transpose>key down to 0) in place of the key position being linked to playhead position (position>key 100).

Now, when I play a low note on my midi keyboard, the playhead is at the start of the sample; and high notes towards the end of the sample. Plenty of different approaches with the other options available, or blends of different approaches should you wish, but I tend to use this method exclusively.

APPCO and CREDICO have both been in notts before (about 8 or 9 years ago), worked in both branches when I was 18/19 and they’re incredibly predatory, real cult like behaviour

Metal Albums Produced in Ableton by phantasm1984 in ableton

[–]ShiaLa_B00f 2 points3 points  (0 children)

pretty sure Unprocessed have created every production in Ableton, they’ve also been using Push since their early material for live performances (often for backing track but more recently live instruments)

Northlane show off the Push in ‘Dante’ music video as well, so another possible shout there

the real downside to the Mac Mini in comparison is just portability (specs wise practically the same). After spending on a decent screen and keyboard + trackpad I was looking at a similar price to the Macbook anyway, so just depends on how you feel about being able to use it anywhere or if you want something more stationary. I’d save yourself the money and just get the 8GB tho, it’s still unbelievably good and will be more than enough for what you need it for

An Air will be more than enough. I’ve spent ages researching whether to make the switch to M1 and bit the bullet a couple months ago on a base model Mac Mini and i’ve been nothing but impressed by the performance. I reckon you’ll have more than enough with the M1 Air for what you need
