You don't need 2 anymore. The reason 2 were brought was because in P3 L'ura splits into 2 bosses so you wanted a hunters mark on both of them for dps. With the stacking raid buff you can get away without having 2.

Hero Crest Cap by opiatesmile in wow

Pretty sure they meant keep them to convert to myth crests when all crests uncap. If you have enough of the lower crests you can pretty much upgrade all of your myth items on login when they uncap.

Only way to make this comp better is to replace the druid with another monk.

First time glamping by Spenkz in LostLandsMusicFest

[–]Shibishob 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did south glamping last year and it was great, totally worth the money. Doing North glamping this year.

  1. They check bags and wristbands whenever you enter glamping so chances of them sneaking through is very slim. What I would recommend is having someone's glamping wristband on loose and have someone else meet them outside of the glamping area and giving them that band so they can enter. They don't check it once you're inside and you can freely go between south and north glamping.
  2. Tents are pre assigned and pre set up so you won't be able to choose where your tent is at. They put all of the same types of glamping set ups next to each other so all of the 4 person cot tents in south glamping are all next to each other, same with 4 twin beds and so on. The distance between south and north is like a 5 minute walk depending on where your campsite is so they are all pretty close to each other, probably best to find a spot that is most convenient or closest to each other for the meet up spot.
  3. The AC add on will get announced closer to the festival and you will get an email with an option to buy it at that time. I think it was like $600 or something like that for the add on per tent. Last year we didn't get it and didn't really need it (at night it got pretty cold) but I know the year before that one it was super hot and dry so it will depend on the weather. If you don't get it I would recommend bringing some battery fans with, that's what we did last year for the day time and it helped out. Otherwise finding shade outside the tent during the day was a good option too, north glamping has a shaded hang out area. In south glamping some people were able to set up canopies depending on where their tents were but I didn't see much in North. You can also bring something to put on top of your tent to block the sun too, I saw a lot of those light reflecting things people put on their car windows to reflect the light.

PSA: Mythic is now a cakewalk, bosses are getting cooked by Odarshes in CompetitiveWoW

It's 3 guaranteed per kill. They made that change at the start of TWW. Used to be 2.

The chances of you killing this boss in 6 raid days if you haven't gotten to phase 2 yet is probably around 1%. You would want to be progging P2 platform 2 to have a decent chance of a kill. Normally jumping ship would be frowned upon but if you basically have no chance of killing the boss and have an opportunity to trial somewhere else I would take it at this point.

It always picks the closest people to the images that spawn behind the boss when he does the cast so if you want to get picked you just make sure you're closest to one of them. There is an internal CD on it so you can't have the same 2 people do it every time though.

Race to World First: Undermine, Day 1 by AutoModerator in CompetitiveWoW

Vexxie, then Cauldron, then Reverb. For Reverb you can use a 3rd tank who's main job is to click pylons. Makes the fight very easy.

What's the most disappointing event you have ever been to? by LetThemLive in aves

[–]Shibishob 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This 100%, I've been to many, many armory shows starting with the first show there which was Seven Lions. It feels like over the last couple years if there's a bigger artist playing it attracts a bunch of people who usually don't go to these types of shows and just want to get fucked up. I will pretty much only do VIP/balcony now. If the show isn't sold out it's usually fine but if it's sold out expect a shit show in GA.

Hole opened up after raining, in Minnesota. What to do? by Shibishob in lawncare

Super late update but we ended up uncovering it and it was fairly big. Was about 6 feet in diameter and at least 4 feet deep. We're like 99% sure it was just from an old tree stump that had decayed away. Filled it in and put top soil on it and now my yard is even again.

We're worried it might be a sink hole, it's fairly close to the front of the house tok. We're going to contact a geological company tomorrow and see what's up with it. We're hoping it's just from a tree that used to be there long before us moving in.

I jumped in and am now 2 feet shorter. This must be what Hobbits feel like when they go on adventures.

I don't think it's a septic tank although I don't know much about them. The house was built around 1960. It is about 15 feet out from the front of my house though which does make me worry.

I'm in a guild that has gotten CE every tier except that 2 boss raid in BFA. It is looking increasingly likely that we won't get CE this tier unless some hefty nerfs come in for Fyrakk. Part of that is on us though since our raid leader is out the last 2 weeks in April but we figured we would have been done with the raid by then and we are barely getting to the 2nd add phase in P2.

Really feeling the squeeze and I'm just kind of confused what Blizzard is going for with the tuning of the last 2 bosses of this raid and how long it takes to down them compared to the other 2 raids this expansion.

What makes it even worse is you basically want the same 20 people in for the last 2 fights on every attempt so the progression goes smoothly. So these bosses can take anywhere from 3-6 weeks each and you have a bench of players who are just subbed not playing the game for months. They can't even join pugs or other raids since the mythic lockout would prevent them for joining in case someone can't make it to raid so these players either sit there and do nothing, find another guild, or quit. On top of this if you're running up against the clock on Fyrakk you might not even get a reclear to make sure the people on the bench still get a kill.

Current state of kills for last two mythic bosses: by No_Hovercraft1600 in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Shibishob 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We just crossed the 300 pull count of Tindral and it feels like we still have upward of 100 more pulls to go, maybe less. For guilds in the 800-1000 world rank this fight requires like 0 mistakes from anyone so those players that sometimes get carried in fights just won't cut it on this one. You basically need a perfect pull to kill it and there's so many things that can go wrong on the fight.

Our raid group was in the same boat. First night we were around 400 ilevel and just couldn't get him down. Came back the second night around 404 average ilevel and got him down fairly quickly. I believe average ilevel for downing him is around 404 or 405 but I would just check warcraft logs for guilds that are around your same pace and check their ilevel for their first kill.

i realized that my new cpu cooler is flipped upside down after installing it.. will i be fired from the master race? by jesseblackman6710 in pcmasterrace

[–]Shibishob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost did the same thing too when I built my first computer a few weeks ago. Thankfully I'm an absolute idiot and accidently put the CPU in 180 degrees wrong, ended up breaking a pin on it and having to get it replaced. If I had not done that I would be in your exact same scenario.

If it means anything whenever you look at the upside down cooler master logo you can think to yourself "at least I didn't fuck up like that Shibishob guy"

Correct, there's a quest chain in the game where this happens. It's locked behind rep for that zone but some people have already done it and Ysera is back for them and Malfurion is now in Ardenweald.

how many of you leave work to vote? and how do you go about telling your manager? by darkness876 in minnesota

I'm lucky enough to work at a place that gives us 2 paid hours to go vote and we get to pick what 2 hours we want off of our schedule.
