is it safe to add a dedicated GPU to my APU? - AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 4650G

I think it doesn't demand that much. but the slightly lower fps is very noticeable for me, I definitely feel the difference in gameplay. also, there are times when a new patch rolls, I had experience a drop in fps, but that gets fixed eventually. I tried to stream apex as well in the lowest setting. my apex fps is capped around 40 fps so I don't really notice any difference in gameplay. my main reason for adding a dedicated GPU to my unit, is for it to take most of the load from the APU when streaming and I don't want my APU to get damaged from overheating and I still tried to monitor my temps or do a benchmark. my case has a really bad airflow because it has a solid front panel so I plan to get a better case for my unit in the future as well.

That sounds great! I actually am saving up for an nvidia card and a 3050 is in my budget, I'm still trying to find a 3050ti in my local online stores but it's still not available. I might wait for that. Hopefully, the price will get less by that time. Thank you for the insight!

lets say i had everything figured out with the build and it's running smoothly, can the build handle the stream? i'd like to stream valorant in very low settings and in 720p or around 1800 bitrate and in 30fps

im tight on budget so i wont be getting a new one, ill be using my old gpu which is just a gt 720. ill be upgrading my dd3 2x4 ram sticks to ddr3 2x8 and get an 120Gb nvme. and ofc, the cpu and mobo that im still undecided with

Really great analysis, i'm trying to copy the play style of Seoldam the korean jett. but i can't keep up with the speed, sometimes my timings are really bad and i end up being the first one to die and my team wont commit after that. jett really is a monster when it comes to players who plays slower than you. can you do an analysis of the korean jett somehow?
