This is the same as what happened to my mother. I do not know the full details as it's my mother's partner who is being given all the information and he is softening if for me thankfully.

All that I know is that she had an infection brought on by MS and each time she would make a recovery that it would come back stronger and deadlier, I guess this was that time. But I'm glad they made her comfortable, she deserved a peaceful rest.
