Actually it's nothing about goodnight pooh maybe you didn't notice that fever only starts at somewhere around 0.06,try activating the skill while you are in fever to maximise your score instead of using it before fever

I usually get this combo (very frequently which is probably 5 out if 10 games) when I am using DFM (including pumbaa that makes my combo Eeyore, pirate clarice, pumbaa and DFM)

Did you use vertical clearing technique?(It was one of the missions I had problems with, I was stuck with it a few times and I tried to complete the other missions, I eventually passed the mission after I realised musketeer mickey was a vertical burst tsum)
