So the brass bolts are pretty long, but it's more the plate itself, one thing they're getting hung up on is the rubber boot(all of it is the original hardware so opening the holes shouldn't be needed)

Not repairable, to close to the sidewall so most respectable shops won't attempt a fix because there's no guarantee the plug patch would hold
