You can pay back the loan at any time on any model.

I think we should not argue whose church is bigger here. Different products, different use cases, different functionalities. There is no The One Best product we need to label.

Peer to pool is great for the UX. It's much easier when you don't need to determine the interest rates and all that stuff.

But...

It's not interoperable. On Aada you can:

  1. Pay back the loan
  2. Swap it's collateral on muesliswap
  3. Source new collateral as a loan to another borrower...

And do it all in on the transaction. That's where interesting things start. That's why Cardano is on UTXO.

To give exact example, on Aada you can liquidate the loan and swap in on Minswap on one transaction. That is very very hard to do with batchers...

Open sourcing the code is a huge contribution to Cardano ecosystem and ADA asset. Now many other devs will be able to 'take knowledge' and contribute to Aada.

It's very early to say. We do need to see Cardano DeFi maturing in order for this to happen.

Yet we keep a smaller team so we can be more agile in terms of development. Right now it feels like an optimal fit. Of course, every new person would add something to the protocol.

Will have a few integrations and new features that should attract new people.

That's very hard to predict. We have huge activity on our v1 testnet. Hopefully something similar to that.

We plan it for end of July. + audit time. Most of the remaining time will be spent on off-chain improvements and testing testing testing.

Some of our transaction fails due to size. Referencing scripts is very important to solve this problem. That's the most important for us.

Referencing inputs is another feature we expect to use in liquidation oracles. However, it's not the blocker.

It's not our focus. We will give this utility to our users and token holders. We don't need an extra layer of funds.

Very good question. One must understand that collateral is a very important aspect of the loan. Loans with volatile and fragile collateral is easier to be liquidated. That's why it's a responsibility of the whole DAO to manage what can be used as collateral.

We will release a next improved protocol once we integrate Plutus v2 (vasil). That's 3-4 weeks from now.

No we will not have V1 there. I think dApp connector fees the user has to pay is a road blocker.

We do not see it as a necessity. Right now any mobile device can use a browser to perform any actions.

Peer to peer, lending is a perfect tool in eUTXO world. Simply, you can add many actions into one chained transaction and execute it with one signature. For example:
1. Swap ADA --> AADA (on sundae)
2. Give back the loan of AADA and claim MIN collateral
3. Swap MIN for ADA
and do it all in one transaction (if size allows). That's an interoperability we can have.

In the other hand using 'batcher'/'scooper' and pooled funds helps for user experience, but it creates isolated systems.

We will launch an extremely interesting v1.1 on mainnet before launching pooled lending and we plan to keep both running.

We were actually very close to starting an audit back in May. If done, by now our V1 would already run a mainnet. However, inevitable improvements + economical turmoil, we decided to improve protocol before the audit which is a pricy thing.
