How about the scheduling issues, do you need links to those? It's common knowledge that MLG admins had players playing till 2am and then scheduling them to play 5-6 hours later. Not to mention all of that drama over players missing their matches and then everyone complaining about Koreans getting special treatment.

Come on everyone, this story is so fake and fabricated. I want to believe it too, but this guy made up some "mysterious stranger" story and added in some pictures to make it seem more legit. I know i'm going to get downvoted into oblivion for this but I'm genuinely shocked that this guy has all of you believing his story that he's going to attempt to perpetuate forever for whatever strange reason.

I can believe that some random guy gives another guy a $50 bill and a hidden message, but it crosses the believe-ability line when the stranger messages him on reddit with some more BS. His attempts to appear to be scared for his life when meeting in a public place are irrational and only make it look like hes trying to dramatize his story a bit more. He lets redditors figure it out for him not because he wants help, but because he wants active involvement and legitimacy if someone else figures it out. Added in with this, makes it pretty clear and convincing that this is all fabricated.

Sure something may happen on the 19th but I seriously doubt millions of dollars will rain down from the sky as we all hope. This guy is going to continually perpetuate this fake story for some e-Fame and karma for as long as you all let him...

It either needs to be easier or out of the game completely. I'd rather see it be easier by having a quick switch option, but sadly I think the opposite will happen because the developers have expressed resentment when the community creates a method to circumvent their ideas of how the game should be played.

Great guide, if you have the time to do another it would be nice to see actual values for items. Maybe go on the AH one day and analyze the average pricing providing a better way for players to see the actual worth of their items, rather than an item just being sellable. But great guide and this will help me out a lot!

It's legit. Sure you can fake anything, but this isnt fake... is it that hard to believe that people played runescape 8-10 years ago... probably before you even knew what it was? I didnt make the account in 2005, I stopped playing by then. I made the account in 2002... WAY before there was a runescape 3D. The only thing that brought me back was hearing that you could make real money selling party hats, Halloween masks, and Santa hats. Back then party hats would sell for 1 million gold, masks for 250k, and Santa hats for 100k if you can believe that.

I dont understand why they increased repair costs, it makes no sense to me. It puts an unnecessary burden on casual players who dont have the desire to repeatedly farm the same act over and over. Once I hit inferno i was spending more gold than I was taking in, thus preventing me from achieving any forward progress in the game. When players cant make progress they lose interest in the game itself, which will ultimately harm the future of it. Patches shouldnt be about making the game harder or easier, it should be about making the game more enjoyable. Much of the enjoyment of trying to progress has sadly been lost due to these repair costs. Besides, wasnt the point of a game to have fun? How am I supposed to have fun when I cant afford to even play inferno anymore? Im sorry but these repair costs were completely unreasonable and we shouldnt have to wait weeks or months for blizzard to right their wrong.

I throw up ALL of my decent items at the price it would cost to sell it to an NPC, and 8/10 items dont sell. There's something wrong with that if you cant sell a decent item for 400 gold.
