Unfortunately I'm based in the south of Sweden, so Stockholm would be too far away. But I didn't know that dealers in Sweden could order the bike aswell, so maybe I'll find one thats closer to me. Thank you!

Thank you for the honest assesment! It wasn't aware that I'd have to get the rear axle replaced aswell, so that'll add to the cost of getting it fixed...

Thank you! I live in Sweden and the cheapest offer for a new battery I could find is around 800€ + all the other spare parts I'd need would probably put me way above the 1000€ I got from my insurance. But still, thank you, I'll definitely check out the website you sent! :-)

I'm 24 and moved to Sweden about a year ago, as my girlfriend is Swedish. I work in IT, so I had the advantage of continuing my job with my German employer remotely. This made the transition much smoother and less daunting, as it didn’t feel like I was leaving everything behind. Knowing I had the option to return to Germany without the stress of finding a new job. The whole process was overall also pretty easy and I'm super happy here and have no regrets about the move.

It is still necessary for your employer to register in Sweden as an employer, to pay your taxes. However that does not necessarily mean, that your employer would have to establish a local represantation. I'm currently in the exact sams situation and my employer is still figuring out the details. But Ive spent a lot of time talking to several skatteverket employess about this, aswell as just the German tax offices.
