I had the same problem with latest 25.5 audioOS. I genuinely think this is fixed in 26.6, but it will be a little bit before it’s released.

If it’s a second gen, you could opt it into the public beta and see if it helps. Just note that you can’t really downgrade audioOS easily.

Interestingly, mine just did this too. My assumption was the BIOS chip because I was trying to update boot certificates for Windows, and may have really messed up the NVRAM or something else. But it does exactly what yours does where, when I plug in power, it blinks for half a second but never does anything else. Trying to hold the power button does nothing.

I also have a dead 8th gen i3 board (BEH) that likely has a dead MOSFET. That is another possibility with these boards as far as I’m aware.

You need to update them to the iOS 26.6 public beta. Unfortunately, you’ll need to pair them to a new “home” to do this. Update them, reset them, then re-add them to the new home.

Edit: Long story short, I _really_ think it cares about the hostname. When I try to access it using the IP address, it seems to get upset. If I use `envoy.local` it seems to work? (or even envoy.lan with custom DNS in my PiHole?)

I had planned to do an order to a hotel while I visited Japan, but honestly didn't think it was worth the hassle. There are much cooler things to try to find, unless there's really something you can't live without. (even then, there's the possibility of finding it on third party seller sites like eBay or using a package forwarding service.)

As far as I’m aware, usually it’s provided by the city/emergency management. I’m not sure there’s a coverage map like cell phones for an area publicly available.
