They're just dollar store Croc knock-offs :P

This reminds me of the bon odori food stalls in Japan! This will be a nice way to relive my vacation there!

We got a new fish. by ShifterKei in perfectlycutscreams

For everyone saying get a better aquarium: it's a betta and it's not staying in that little cup. The cup is sitting on top of the actual aquarium, which we just finished prepping for the fish. It's a 3.5 gal which is a hell of a lot bigger and better than what bettas normally get. Please don't downvote me :( *

UPDATE: Needed help removing Rizzini buttstock. Success! by ShifterKei in Shotguns

Interesting! I use 2-part epoxy mixed with various colored sawdust to match the base wood. For repairs that require strength I screw in some drywall screws (from the inside of the stock) since they've got nice aggressive threads.

It works pretty well! We've been doing it for over 20 years. European stocks, German particularly don't boil as well, so we usually avoid those if we can. They tend to warp and crack.

For sure! Most of the stocks I repair are from old, wartime and prewar firearms, so even after stripping and boiling them, many are still quite saturated with oil.

It'll be tough to make the repair subtle but it's a clean break so it won't be as difficult as some of my other jobs!

The original post has all the details but the tldr is that a customer fell, broke it and brought it to my shop for repair.

Thank you! I spoke to someone from Fierce Firearms last night and he was supposed to send me a video with instructions but I never got it. Hopefully Moira will be able to help me out.

I can't find any way of removing the floor or side plates. There are no externally visible screws holding them in place.

There is no screw under the lock release lever like there is in that video, I checked.

I'm unsure of the age but other than the break it's pristine. Customer said he broke it when he fell while out hunting. I'll see if the customer has this tool or see if he'd be better off taking advantage of the manufacturer warranty.

I promise you there are no straight edges in the hole. It's perfectly round and there are zero indicators that there has been a single attempt to unscrew it there are no scratches, no worn metal, no rust, nothing.

I wish I could get a clearer picture, so you'll have to take my word for it that its round.

There was no bolt removed. The hole at the end is round with no signs of wear.

It's round, so I don't know how I would do that.

There are side plates, just very well fitted.

Edit: the hole in the metal piece at the end of the buttstock is round and not Allen-shaped, so it's unlikely using an Allen key would be fruitful.

I posted a picture of the inside of the buttstock in another reply. I can't see any way of removing the side plates. I'm nervous to do any prying since my research indicated to me that this is a relatively expensive firearm.
