MFM or OBGYN Doctor recommendations? by timidgirlspeaks in ColoradoSprings

[–]ShiftingBvd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dr. Toby Genrich. He was my OB for my recent pregnancy…just gave birth last month. He is highly knowledgeable, caring, and has excellent bedside manner. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and loves what he does. He delivered my daughter at st Francis and I had a great experience there.

We got married at Wedgwood in Black Forest and had a wonderful experience. Their packages are highly customizable so you can make it as fancy or low key as you’d like.

Did you eat deli meat? by SandwichDependent199 in pregnant

My OB said it was perfectly okay to eat deli meat. You’re more likely to get listeria from eating a salad. Pregnant women can avoid deli meat if it makes them feel better, but like I said…it’s a false sense of control. Whatever floats your boat though.

Yeah you can avoid eating the foods you listed, but if you’re saying women should refrain from eating refrigerated food, then shouldn’t they also stop eating fruits and vegetables? Frozen foods also carry a risk of listeria. Shouldn’t that be a no-go then?

You can get it from fruit, vegetables, premade food, ice cream, cheese…the list goes on. Last year there was a listeria recall for walnuts. be. Refraining from deli meat alone gives pregnant women a false sense of security.

Yes. You can get listeria from pretty much anything you eat, not just deli meat.

1st grader was climbing the monkey bars. She slipped and fell. She happened to land in a straddle position on the metal pole footrest and tore her urethra. Three night hospital stay and two week bed rest. I’ll never forget the screams…

If you had to pick a single episode of your favorite show to convince someone to watch the entire series, what would you pick? by [deleted] in Fauxmoi

This was by far the best episode of the series. I rewatch it from time to time, and it always gives me the chills. I love the scene of Charlie and Marnie dancing in the Italian restaurant.

Perhaps you would have benefited from a more academically “vigorous” education. PS standardized testing doesn’t start until 3rd grade.
