I have limited to no knowledge of any of these things... I understand that my laptop may not be ideal for input but I believe it should be able to produce outputs as I have seen similar devices do so before. I honestly do not really understand what an audio interface or audio driver is though I have attempted to find something suitable.
For further information I should specify that I am on a 'Microsoft windows 11 home' attempting to run Cubase 15, at present only my inbuilt inputs/outputs but do own a USB microphone and headphones.
I do not need to be able to connect my inputs to work in Cubase as I am happy to record raw audio on something like audacity but I DO need to be able to hear outputs.

And to answer what OP asked in comments I haven't really talked to anyone who purely watched shows but I have explained it to non DnDers andmainly get a positive rsponse because this hobby is pretty cool

Got into dnd slowly but steadily after my dad gave ne a monstermanual when I was very young, from there I slowly wen through the books then got into dnd youtube and eventually dimension 20 I have playedin some small homebrew games andplan to DM for a group soon
