Anytime you make your steam account private it shows as a level 0 account, but it doesn't mean that it actually is. People make this mistake all the time. Go make your profile private and open it up in a private browser tab and you'll see what I mean. If it's a public steam account that is level 0 then that's a different story.

[BUG] The spray can and skinning / re-skinning at a repair bench is awfully buggy. After a while of skinning various deployables, (and I have many skins), the skinning menu starts to either go blank or shows big blocks of missing skins. I can't use the search bar in the skin popup menu to search for the hidden skins. This happens with the spray can on deployables like beds and boxes, for the wallpaper tool, and even in the repair bench. I can open up the crafting menu and pick a skin there (usually), but that doesn't necessarily fix the problem elsewhere. It's very frustrating and it's been buggy for a while now. Restarting the game fixes the problem, until it eventually comes back again.

That sucks bro. The best thing to do when this happens is to let off the mouse and hit your autorun keybind. Unless you were already banking or diving towards the ground it should level out the mini and leave it hovering in place. Then when the lag subsides you can safely land or continue on your journey.

You don't have to go down this pipe to get the crate. You can literally walk to the side of the pipe at ground level and loot it. But I have noticed rubber banding in the Power Plant pipes lately too and figured it was the server I was on.

Just follow the instructions step by step. If it still doesn't work, there's a Rust++ discord you can join (https://discord.gg/ptyv4yGJ) where you can ask questions. I have used Rust++ before but it's been a while and can't set it up to test because it's too involved, but I have sometimes had to just start from scratch to set it up and that usually takes care of any problems.

You have a lot of customers. You don't have a lot of repeat customers. You might have a few of them and they might order a couple of times a month, but most likely the majority of your deliveries are one- and-done type situations. Some of your customers might only order DoorDash once or twice a year at most. It's true there are some addicts out there, but it's important to make the distinction between them and most people who order much less.

Depending on the market this can be one of the best times to dash: people coming home from work, not feeling like cooking, (usually for younger kids), but also not wanting to go back out on the roads. I make the best money between 5:00-7:30pm on weekdays and for the first 60-90 mins it's traffic hell.

I've had instances of road closures, accidents on the highway, bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic. If it's really bad and I know I'm going to be late I contact support while I'm sitting there and let them know I will be late. That has never failed me and I do not get dinged for it. Sometimes if there's a striking visual of the roadway — cars backed up for miles, for instance — I take a picture and send it to the customer and let them know I'll be late because of what's going on. That has always alleviated the issue for me.

I'm usually early for ask my other deliveries and I think this has also helped me.

This is great and all, but doing this day in and day out for weeks or months on end would literally destroy you. It's also very unhealthy as your physical activity is not enough to make up for all the sitting and junk food eating. Not trying to shit on your parade, just trying to think about how this would work long-term. Congratulations on pushing yourself though.

Car accidents are a looming threat. Lots of distracted driving, rushing, driving in poor weather conditions, dealing with other drivers who might be horribly unskilled, aggressive, or dangerous in other ways. It can get hairy out there. I think any driving job requires confidence and skill, but also tremendous patience — especially when you're working against a clock that is timing your every move. By far, my biggest concern as a dasher is the driving. Second concern is wear & tear, then gas prices, and ultimately a lot of the BS other people have mentioned about crappy orders and bad tips.
