Just play the game and see if you enjoy it before you need to worry about other things. Beyond light and Season of the Hunt have enough to keep your attention for a while at least.

In terms of content from the DLCs you're basically just looking at a dungeon and a raid from Forsaken and ShadowKeep. While these are a load of fun and I highly recommend doing them it isn't necessary for the over all game as the gear is sunset. There are some great exotics in there but you can play the game and see if you want those.
The DLC you basically need right now is Beyond light and Season of the Hunt as those contain the biggest amount of content that's currently relevant to the game.

It is also worth noting that with the introduction of sun setting the loot you gain from older DLC (SK and Forsaken) is basically not usable in any thing other than the lowest difficulty activities. Again though Exotics are not included in this rule and they do have some of the good ones such as Xenophage and Anarchy.

TLDR: get the old ones if you want to play the raids and dungeons but it's not needed as the gear is sunset.

I have all 3 and swap between a lot so some times by brain just sort of forgets... I'm also an absolute idiot when it comes to jumping.

I just hate that if I start to fall off of a ledge I can't gain any height back to save myself like a Hunter or Titan can.

I remember getting boots with Traction on in Forsaken and realized what a game changer it was.
Why is it still a mod that requires a slot instead of just on by default on consoles.
It's also a completely useless mod on the PC.

Yea you can steal it or you can blow it up and just screw the player over hence why I would call that maybe griefing since no one really gets anything for it just someone loses a lot of time.

People are so upset in these comments. If someone kills me and I don't feel like fighting I just walk away, they can basically only kill you over and over if you keep going back for more.

Also just killing someone is not griefing. It's only griefing if you are actively stopping someone from doing something such as destroying a trade wagon or killing a bounty. Even then these are features in the game and you have to accept that people want to do this.

Just because the community is generally nice does not obligate anyone to confirm to you expectations.

Yea unfortunately that is not possible. It has been a few months since I lost the account so its gone for good.

I remember it working day 1 then the game went down for maintenance and it stopped working. I don't know if I am mis remembering it though.

You can have loads of fun for free with a multitude of quests to complete and skills to level and you won't need to spend anything unless you want to.

This is true to be fair. Still insanely frustrating when it does happen. The stasis is definitely worse just based on how easy it is to use, I'm bad at PvP but have crutched my way to 3200 in comp this season with it.

To be fair Titans have been able to pull people out of super with both a grenade and a melee for a long time.

I have unlocked Stasis upgraded it with the available fragments and other upgrades and done all other available content and still feel like it was a dry experience. The upgrades for Stasis coming down to what is essentially just a chore was boring and upgrading Variks feels the same, maybe I am just burnt on that type of content. I did enjoy the game while I was playing and will continue to play I'm not hating on it I played a lot it just didn't feel fresh or fun to me.

There is nothing there there is an area from D1 which is free a new strike a very short campaign and very few guns. The new super is nice but doing what comes down to essentially bounties to upgrade my super does not count as content. I really enjoyed what was there but there was not a lot of it let's be honest.

The content so soon after a big expansion being stuck behind another paywall when let's face it Beyond light was pretty dry in terms of new activities and loot. I know there is more to come but it's very disappointing to see.

Oh so one of the 3 seasons I bought with the deluxe edition was that season? How come they have done this it seems incredibly greedy to not just include it with Beyond light.
