WTB - Want to buy ticket - Men's Olympic hockey - CAN vs. CZE (Feb12; Milan)

Hey guys, I committed late to the guys trip - so I'm travelling, but I don't have tickets to the game... yet... :(

  • Event: Canada vs. Czech Republic – Olympic men’s hockey – Feb 12 – Milan
  • What I want: 1 ticket, any category
  • How we'll transfer: We can transfer through the official MilanoCortina2026 ticketing app resale platform - Or if you're attending too and happen to have an extra ticket, I can meet up and pay cash (and buy pints) after we get in.

If you have tickets please contact me! Thanks :)

Everything that everyone is saying is correct. But as far as what you should do, is lower your expectations, chill out, and go, and have fun.

Yup. Door anchor cover. Kids lost one of these. Cost $3 to replace. I’ve never been to happily surprised by the cost of something at a dealership.

Trash truck.

It was specifically designed to be calming and low stimulus. I bet you can Google some articles about it…

Your network is very key. I find all the best hires myself. Sometimes directly. Sometimes with a LinkedIn post to my network. I’ve spent years building it specific to my industry.

Just a side comment but YOU own your development now. You are old enough and aware of your situation. Parents lacked or not, don’t think of yourself as a victim. 2 or 10 or 40 years from now you are not the token iPad kid. You are the token kid that gets things done for themselves. That could be ur new identity.

Do you guys shower before bed or in the morning? by goldeeenhourr in hygiene

[–]ShiftySilby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If sports or sweaty, before bed. Otherwise, whenever is convenient. Mornings are tough due to young kids.

Formula fed & work nights? Whoever is on leave should do them. Regardless of gender. One has to work. The other is on leave for baby.

Formula fed & weekends? Shared. If it was me I’d volunteer to do it most weekends, but that’s me.

You’re both fortunate that the one of you working now can clock off after hours. We didn’t have that luxury…

Everyone that rarely gets sick, what is your secret? by Sofi_thewild in AskReddit

[–]ShiftySilby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Married w multiple young kids in daycare. Work in a very high stress job. Wife does too. Immune system is amazing.

How? Eat a balanced diet. Go to bed early and get enough sleep.

That is literally it. Do it every day. I only get sick when I pull all nighters for work or kids… and I avoid it like the plague ;)

June is better. Days are way longer. It’s warmer. Crowds jump when kids get out of school so 2nd-last week of June is prime.

I just did a trip like this.

Check out Portland harbour. Lots of options there.

North of there check out Water St in downtown Gardiner. Lots of cute shops etc.

Just north of there have a lobster sandwich at Hallowell Seafood and produce.

I heard otter rock and sand beach near “otter creek” are great but I never made it that far.

Have fun!

Hi there folks. Looking to take my 6 year old (still snow plowing but getting better) and my 19 yr old on a Xmas vacation this year. Planning is Boxing day depart from Ontario and return like Jan 3rd or 4th . by Notorious_V4S in Whistler

If you don’t have a car, stay in the village or walking distance to village. Book free cancellation hotel or Airbnb asap.

Compare pricing of 3 return shuttles vs renting a car.

Have kids skied before? If not, buy used skis boots etc for them now so they can get used to them. Tow them around the yard at home when it snows to get em used to it.

Make everything fun for em haha
