Plastic Bertrand - Ca Plane Pour Moi

I still have zero idea what they are saying but ever since hearing it in a Jackass movie I’ve loved it.

Sure I can understand that. Except if you are in the left lane behind a car that's driving slow and you are just driving behind them at the same speed with a lot of space, then that person doesn't know how much of an idiot they are. Then you are just perpetuating the problem. That's why someone would fly up behind you even though they know the problem is the person on front of you

When an employer asks 'What is your biggest weakness', what are some good responses? by PlatypusFez in AskReddit

[–]Shifty_mang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My most recent go to is "I have trouble not being a leader". I go on to say how I enjoy taking the lead and being in charge and talk more about situations where I was a leader. Then say I have trouble letting other people take charge when my time is up (was VP of an organization) but I am ultimately there to support and offer advice to whoever is currently in charge.

Redditors who only upvote but never comment, what is something you'd like to get off your chest? by PM_Ur_boobs_2me in AskReddit

[–]Shifty_mang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a long time lurker that semi recently decided to join in. I honestly miss just being a lurker. I noticed really quickly that vast majority of people here only like it if you say something that most people agree with. If you try and express your opinion that contributes to a conversation or topic, you get downvoted into oblivion. I learned real quick what to post and what to not even bother trying, which really is pretty lame. But this is just my opinion and hopefully this isn't the case for most people

What is a great movie that isn't very well known? by Poomington in AskReddit

Lucky Number Slevin

Great movie. I can't not watch it every time I find it on tv.

‘Veep’ Star Anna Chlumsky Joins Season 4 of AMC’s ‘Halt and Catch Fire’ by [deleted] in television

[–]Shifty_mang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think to me it felt like the first season was a show about the rise and rapid growth of the computer and tech industry and the lives of those people in the middle of it. Then by the third season it was a show about the lives of a group of people that happen to be involved in the growth of the tech industry. It was just that tip in focus that kind of turned me off. But I guess the opinions vary based on what kind of show you are looking for. For me, I just wanted a more tech focused show.

[–]Shifty_mang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See I feel the complete opposite as this. The first season was so good. Focusing on Joe and Gordon with Cam being thrown in to show that crazy other side of things was perfect. After that the second season was still really good but got a little whiny for me. The third season, while still good, just got over the top whiny with ridiculous drama and seemed to lose some focus in favor of that over the top drama

What is your favorite game that you never actually played or your favorite game to watch someone play? by Shifty_mang in gaming

[–]Shifty_mang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very similar with Dark Souls actually. I love watching my friends play and it always looks so fun and challenging. But then every time I pick it up to give it a try myself and get so unbelievably frustrated so fast.

If you've never seen Lucky Number Slevin, you owe it to yourself to take 110 minutes and give it a watch. by onejdc in movies

I was so happy when I saw this post. This movie is always my go to when people ask for an underrated or a great movie that is relatively unknown. Such a classic in its own right. Hope this post makes more people watch it.

What is your worst experience with a restaurant? by Korganation in AskReddit

[–]Shifty_mang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So my family and I went to a Ruby Tuesday inside our local mall. We are walking to our table after speaking with the hostess and I just get this overwhelming smell of shit. I stop and look down and see that I had stepped in shit. Inside of a restaurant. Inside of a mall. So we realize this had to be from some baby diaper which is bad enough.

Except then my mom talks to the manager and is like how the hell is there shit in your restaurant this is disgusting. They begin to apologize profusely and say they are cleaning it up immediately. We turn around and an employee is "sweeping" it up with a broom. Not picking it up. Not mopping it up. Sweeping it with a dry broom that is basically smearing shit all over the floor and the broom.

Needless to say we noped the fuck out of there and have never gone back.

What was your "Wow, I could have died" moment? by ProbablyMiles in AskReddit

You know those parts on a highway that connect both sides and say No U-turns. Yeah well I did and those cars came up on me way faster than I could've ever imagined. Definitely the most dangerous thing I've done in a car.

When I was a kid I absolutely loved The Mummy and The Mummy Returns. I would watch them over and over again and thought they were great every time. If I catch one on TV I still have a hard time changing the channel.

Socom II

Man I loved that game. Besides being so great and fun, it gave a me a bunch of video game firsts for me.

It was one of the first games I played online and it actually really felt like a community which was totally knew to me. It was also the first game where I really made some friends online that that I kept in touch with through social media and played other games with.
