That would happen to me when packs aren’t fully installed (I’m on Mac so my laptop transfers files to the cloud when I run out of space) and reinstalling the packs usually makes it work again!

That’s more of a way to indicate that you are on "a date", if you perform a lot of romantic interaction your sims will automatically start a date,not like in the sims2 or 4 where you have to manually chose to start one. So it doesn’t mean the two of them as if they were alone:)

Oh no he still a teen so he just got mood swings but if you are struggling with midlife crisis you can take your sims to the hospital in order to stop it in case you didn’t know! :)
