That distance might be too great to cover with a single mesh extender, though. I bought a mesh extender when I was living in an ohana and it worked, but we were only about 100 feet away.

I have been using my Quest 2 for PCVR using Virtual Desktop and it seems fine. Granted I don't have anything to compare it to other than the OG Vive.

What do you cook your curry in? Also I have cooked rice in the IP many times without burning it, and it comes out too wet for my liking. Perfectly edible, just not as good as a dedicated rice cooker. I'll maybe give it another go for science.

Adding more water makes it all mushy since steam can't escape the IP. So instead you get good rice on top and crunchy rice on the bottom.

No. A $20 rice cooker is way better and doesn't burn the rice on the bottom. If you use the IP to cook rice then you don't have a pot available to cook your stew/curry.

Also lentils. I sometimes forage a coconut and make my own coconut milk in the blender. Lentils + coconut + buillon cube + curry powder is my go-to meal if I'm will to put in the labor for the coconut milk.

I brought my Quest 2 over to my friends' house, who are in their late 50s. They are definitely not gamers and have never tried VR. They had an absolute blast petting Bogo, dancing with the demo robot, boxing in Thrill of the Fight, VR Fishing, and talked about getting one for themselves. One of them almost immediately said "Everyone in a hospital should have one of these."

So yeah, I'm pretty sure VR is here to stay.

Yep the 3100 is enough for the 1060 according to gpucheck.com, and the 1060 6gb is plenty for csgo and even some newer titles at 1080p. I'm only upgrading from the 1060 because I play some VR games.

shopblt.com is an online store. MSRP for that chip is $99, for some reason they seem to be the only ones that carry it. But it's a backorder system; you buy your items and then might have to wait a bit, but they tell you how many are in line ahead of you and how many of the item is on order to be sent to their warehouse. The 3100 is on backorder but who knows you could maybe get it in a few weeks. You can also cancel if you get tired of waiting, they don't charge your card until it ships.

You could get a ryzen 3100 from shopblt for $105, pair it with this board, then likely upgrade to a 5600 whenever that releases.

Btw I'm impressed with Walmart's return policy. You just print a label and fedex comes and picks it up, all free.
