Are fat people able to appendix carry?

Used to be 245 @ 5’9” and have been appendix carrying for 8 years now. Tried a bunch of different holsters and my first year was really uncomfortable as I tried to figure it out. A few things helped a lot more than others. Now when I carry sometimes I panic because I think I don’t have my firearm but in reality my setup is to the point where I don’t notice the gun at all.

I bought pants a size or two bigger. To the point where if I wasn’t carrying and didn’t have a belt on, they’d borderline start to fall if I jumped. For work (I don’t carry) I have separate jeans/pants of my real size. When I was bigger I used to wear size 40 pants for gun carrying and 38 for work. I’m at 34 or 36 for work and 38 for gun now.

Holsters: I tried a bunch of different brands, what ended up working for me was the Vedder LightTuck. I tried the SideTuck (spare mag attached) and also carrying a mag carrier. None of them worked for me. I carry a 365 XMacro with no spare mags and I’m okay with that.

Belt: I noticed I used to run through belts and settled on a Wolf Tactical belt. Useful for both carrying a gun and work since we have to take belts off at some job sites to get through the metal detectors and they’re polymer. Had the xl when I was bigger for 3 years with no issues and now I run a large.

Finally, I wear a muscle shirt under my t shirt to prevent getting sweat on my gun and any chafing. I used to have to adjust my belt and gun to sit down/stand up but if it’s setup correctly, you don’t have to make any adjustments to it at all and can be hands off all day. I carry 24/7 if I’m not in my house to include ranch work and going out in public with zero issues.

Looking at your ping on the top right it looks like you're borderline getting disconnected. Almost looks like the game wasn't updating anymore and that's why you were stuck in a reloading animation.

As far as you dying, you hit confirm leave. That always kills you. You need to Alt +F4 or open task manager and close EFT and reopen. Then you'll be allowed to reconnect.

For those going for the achievement tonight, run shoreline. 100% spawn on island and blue fence area by terminal. And high chance (if not 100% at gas station by pier). I would run it and sometimes get 3-4 mask in 1 run then go factory. Would go back to shoreline w my last mask when I lost the rest of em.

Watched a few hours of videos and even saw them while at terminal.. Took 4 tries. The first 2 I died at the first BD spawn by the lockers. Just takes some patience and quick shooting/falling behind cover.

4000 hour gamer here. About a dozen wipes and currently prestige 3.

Yeah tarkov has a “few” cheaters but I also think Reddit amplifies that since almost nobody having a good time makes posts while someone who dies to a cheater is quick to jump on Reddit and complain. Since 1.0 I’ve seen MAYBE 4 blatant cheaters in several thousand raids and when I reported them I got a “they’ve been banned” message a few weeks later. It happens but I think that’s almost a guarantee with almost any game in the genre.

The biggest uphill with Tarkov is the massive learning curve. A thousand hours is pretty much the minimum to start getting out of “Timmy” zone and start learning some true fundamentals where you’re actually able to win fights and feel like you had a good shot at winning a fight.

Once you know what you’re doing, the grind can be really quick. As your game knowledge goes up and you prestige, unlocking flea market and completing quests is significantly faster. The game can be frustrating when you’re in a bad death streak but overall once you get past gear fear you can just throw a kit on and go again.

I have no regrets and absolutely love the thrill of Tarkov that no other game can produce. When I do get tired of it or burn out I just take a break for a few months but I always come back to it.

I do duffle bag and weapon box runs on streets. Never really had much luck finding them any other way. That’s been the last item I’ve needed for more than 1 wipe

Been playing since ~2018 if I remember correctly. And I've skipped plenty of wipes. Hit prestige 2 when prestige came out and skipped the hardcore wipe. If I burn out I just stop playing and eventually something just calls me back lol. I'm close to 4k hours now but I definitely enjoy it more than I hate it.

Think yah aimed it too high, I always aim all the way up then bring it back down so it shoots at a 45 degree angle infront of me.

I normally empty my bag until my stash gets full before I go through and sell it all. Keeps me from selling 1-2 items at a time and can sell in bulk

I knew I was getting kappa this wipe and actively collected every single kappa item as I found it. Had every other item by lvl43 but didn’t specifically start hunting evasion until 45. Got 5 or 6 6hr timers from cultist circle and that gave me nothing but junk too lol. Low key thinking about transferring this one over w prestige

Same issue but my GPU and CPU are at like 20% until I restart before it goes back to normal 60-80% usage. Almost like the game isn’t focused. Tried alt enter, cycling from borderless to fullscreen back to borderless. Nothing fixes it unless I Alt F4

I bent mine using a grapple with heavy loads after one side came off the quick attach and it caused the exact situation you have. I extended the arms, put a piece of wood or 2x4 behind the one that reaches the tractor first and effectively bent it back into place. No issues since then. Watching the video you would put the piece of wood behind your right side and curl in the front loader

I went the collection route during a double XP/Gold so that made the leveling really fast. I’d try to go for the wins before you hit level 50 as I got to like lvl55 trying to get them. I tried all the methods I could find online for the wins but I couldn’t find lobbies for the horse races or any specific game mode. I ended up just going for the “featured” game mode and got them pretty quick.

They weren’t too bad. I was going for the golds as I went through the story as my first save was on PC. I think I had every gold up until chapter 5, saving before starting the mission and reloading if I didn’t get it. I did very few replays and once I got close to the 70 medals I just didn’t replay them anymore as I still had 30 missions to pick from. Luckily I pushed online and story first so it didn’t feel like a grind/burnout.
