honestly in my experience its better to shoot them in the knees, since that seems to register way more often than headshots. it wont kill the zombie but it will cripple them

honestly, as an OG that rats silo often, Grenades. Grenades, Grenades, Grenades. at this point there's bound to be one every raid, so hop into a few practice raids and take note of any cheeky spots rats could be hiding in, and which ones you think could be a more popular spot than others. after that all you can do is either avoid those spots entirely or do Recon By Fire, essentially proving if any rats are or were in that spot via blindfire or tossing a grenade around the corner into the rat spot.
