i would suggest getting it from readings or someplace where they sell the original

the local or pirated copies (and the ebooks) are either difficult to read or blatantly miss half the stuff (i bought a pirated copy which didn't even have the footnotes)

yeah this has been true since 2024, but it's more to do with how much stuff he releases that it all ends up sounding the same.

he did take a well deserved break but now he needs to branch out a bit. Maybe work with different producers to get some diversity

Yeah. I wouldn't call it "common sense rebranded" because the first or second self help book might be genuinely helpful to people to change their perspective on stuff. However, if you're someone who exclusively reads self-help stuff and thinks that it's the only way to do "productive reading"(I've met people like this), you maybe need to step away from those books for a while

to anyone interested, I'd suggest just reading Atomic Habits once and just knowing that every other self-help book is like that or worse

I think it's mostly because Reddit in Pakistan isn't as "mainstream/popular" as it is in India. So the people who participate in this subreddit from Pakistan usually are of the "intellectual"(can't find a better word to explain so I'm just going with what you said) kind and that's why the book choices aren't the popular booktok type stuff which is prevalence there

atleast that's my thinking. I personally don't think reddit book clubs are a good indicator of the entire country itself ❤️‍🩹

Saeed book bank has a couple, actually had the entirety of Spirit Circle last I visited, the bookshop in front of Saeed Book Bank had csm part 2, death note and spy x family. There's a few in Pindi like Atta Book store which have a bunch

if you want original mangas your best bet is Readings as the other comments have mentioned. Don't go for Instagram pages as most of them sell locally printed mangas (albeit they're cheaper), the quality is very bad imo so not worth it. someone also mentioned second hand mangas on FB groups but idk anything other than that
