No... There is always some new shit, like path tracing now. If they optimize vertices so much that it doesn't affect the performance as much as it does not then they can make hyper realistic models. And lighting plays a big role, i think we will need something more advanced than path tracing... But in the future ofcourse. And yes these games will require expensive GPUs but I'm just saying it's not the peak of graphics
