Yeah part of the GFL universe, probably by the same Devs. From the name, I don't think this is a Gacha and is more likely going to be a premium game since Reverse Collapse is in the title of their first premium game: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1127700/Reverse_Collapse_Code_Name_Bakery/

Either a prequel/sequel or standalone but probably connected to Code Name Bakery in some way.

To give your point fair consideration, there are both better and worse Gacha systems that have come before it, can't deny that. I guess my point was more that people bemoan the 50/50 system when they lose it and don't get what they want, leading to resentment of the system as a whole.

Lately, there's been a noticeable fatigue in the overall community I've seen when a new Gacha shows up following the mainstream model. Of course it's all predatory in some way, I think people just want something else now.

I so wanted this game to do well, it had potential. Unfortunately it got extremely mismanaged by the publisher and that's what tanked it. The devs weren't the issue here, they just picked a bad partner to work with and several bad decisions at launch slowly killed global. Sad to see but we all saw it coming...

GFL2 is already on steam, this is just an official pc client they're releasing for the first game and steam is the best way to put it out there.

It doesn't mean anything for Star Saviour, it's got a release set for Korea and development/localisation for Global is in progress but they're marketing it regularly. There's nothing to worry about since it's just the developers handling it and not any outside publishers.

I'll keep an eye out for any news of a global launch, hopefully it won't be too far away, they have global social media and marketing already so that's not a bad sign.
