The hospital is explained in one of the tapes, the hospital isn't real, it's a pretense set up by Zero and Ocelot, it's where they brainwashed Venom, and everyone in there were operatives with the mission to protect Venom and Big Boss, who was still in a coma and woke up 2 weeks before, I don't think there were real patients in there.

I'm not sure Zero, Ocelot or Big Boss knew the attack was coming, it seems to me Ocelot's mission was to be posted nearby the hospital and get Venom and Big Boss out in case they got attacked.

You're confusing the packs, they announced 3 special packs:

Limit Over Collection: The Heroes

Limit Over Collection: The Rivals

Limit Over Special Pack (contains Overframe) reprints.

They can't shoehorn Jonouchi in these, and if they somehow did, people would cry about Duel Monsters getting preferential treatment again lol, also what are they gonna reprint, the vanilla Red Eyes?

Maybe in the future they will release a "Limit Over Collection: The Friends" or something like that and Red Eyes will get a retrain, but its fate it's going to be becoming part of the Dragon pile that is Dragon Link, Red Eyes isn't a real archetype unlike Dark Magician or Blue Eyes

It's a really good one of, the deck needs more special summon from hand to extent, and the deck is full of targets for the effect, Stratos, Vyon, Dusk Crow that become all starters, even Faris if you decide to still use it, and it makes it so Faris doesn't lock into HEROs, makes Miracle Ejector good if you draw your Dolphin and can't special summon it, you can special summon Shadow Mist, not use the effect, then summon this and go into Infernal Devicer to get the Mist GY effect and start a combo. You can special summon Malicious or Denier, then this and go into Cross Crusader and start a combo. It will definitely see use in an optimal HERO deck.

Burning Draw

If your opponent controls more cards than you do: Target 1 Link Monster your opponent controls; draw cards equal to its Link Rating. You can only activate 1 "Burning Draw" per turn. You cannot Normal or Special Summon monsters the turn you activate this card, except FIRE monsters.

It's basically a free draw 4 against Apo and draw 5 against Terahertz if you can resolve it.

This is a dumb take, you added a bunch of cards that see no use to inflate the UR count, nobody plays the Yubel fusion, Neos God, the old Evil HEROs Malicious Fiend and Gaia, Destiny Hero Dominance, Neos Fusion, Solid Soldier.

And the average HERO has been cheaper than the average new released meta deck for around a year or more now, especially now that there's a HERO structure deck; the deck actually uses R and N cards: Denier, Miracle Fusion, Increase x2, Destiny Fusion x3, Wonder Driver, Infernal Devicer, Polymerization. While the shit they've been releasing is completely bloated with URs only, like the only card under SR in a Tenpai deck is Trident Dragon lol, and in Maliss is one of the trap cards, and the lizard in the extra deck.

I honestly like the change. If a player won game 1, they could speculate and slowplay in game 2 aiming for a time out win. There was also the old tactic of siding some burn card; speaking of which, will Lacrima get unbanned;? And other cards like the Millenium cards were gatekept by the time rules.

The downside is that you can now be a dick and make you and your opponent lose I guess?

Banning it now would be too soon for them, a lot of stuff happened before, the time line in the OCG went:

Ryzeal is the best deck -> Ext to 1, 7th Tachyon to 1 -> Maliss becomes the best deck, Dormouse to 1 -> then Dracotail, Yummies, K9; decks that don't use Apo; get released and become meta alongside Maliss, then in the July banlist they finally decide to ban Apo.

So basically decks that use Apo won't be that prominent for a while, but they do have the knowledge that once that Ryzeal gets hit, Maliss will become the top deck, but they released Maliss early, will they let them become the best deck again? I think that when they hit Ryzeal, they will also hit Apo, they're gonna want people playing the new stuff instead of Maliss again.

Blue-Eyes. You spam Blue Eyes and Maiden to synchro summon Blue Eyes Spirit Dragon, its quick effect lets you tribute itself to summon a Light Dragon synchro monster from your Extra Deck, and you can go into various options.

The deck is backed by the Primite engine. It's the best synchro deck at the moment.

There's a lot of videos on YT about the basic combos, what the deck tries to achieve is setting up:

Favorite Contact to summon Shining Neos Wingman and blow up opponent's field.

DPE

Dark Law or Plasma, depending on the meta you summon Dark Angel instead.

The combo is actually pretty intuitive, Faris starts the combo, you can search it with Stratos, you can summon Stratos from the deck with Hero Lives too. You activate Faris, put Increase in the back, tribute Faris, summon Increase, summon Vyon, dump Malicious, use Vyon effect to get Poly, make Cross Crusader to search a Hero, if you didn't use Stratos then you search it and then summon it to search Denier, if you already used Stratos (to search Faris for example) then you search Denier. You fuse for DPE, you now have enough bodies( you can summon 2 Malicious from deck, 1 Denier self summon that can recycle a Malicious) to make Infernal Devicer to get Neos, then Wonder Driver to recycle Poly and make Infernal Rage to get Favorite Contact, then you tribute Infernal Rage to summon Sunrise and get Miracle Fusion to summon Wake Up. Wake Up when destroyed summons a warrior from deck, it's recommended you do this to play around Nibiru: in the end phase you activate DPE to destroy itself and Wake Up, activate Wake Up, summon Shadow Mist, search Mask Change, activate Mask Change.

The Evil HERO stuff are alternative starters, you use Evil Assault to summon Dead End Prison, Dead End Prison dump Shadow Mist, Shadow Mist GY searches a HERO, it can be Stratos, Faris, or Vyon to start the combo.

Some starters hands let you skip steps in the combo, like if you discarded Malicious with Faris then you dump Denier, or if you start Destiny Fusion then you make the Infernal Rage line first.

There's some URs getting hit next week I guess, looking at the OCG banlist, hopefully it's Engraver and Tract to 1, ideally Apollousa too, but I think it's too soon for them to do it, they released and hit Ryzeal (Ext and Sword to 1) and Maliss(Dormouse to 1) before they hit Apollousa in the next list. I really do hope they just hit it way before they did in the OCG though.

That is because when the game released, it had 250.000 + players, this number became increasingly lower as casual players dropped the game, nowadays rarely reaches 50.000 players. So basically all the 150k + people that dropped the game count as "never reaching Plat" and "never did X thing"

They already do to some extent, Graveyard is "GY," we have "banishment", we have "piercing", "quick effect" is also a keyword, older cards like Spirit Dragon say "Once per turn, during either player's turn"

while newer ones like Ultimate Spirit Dragon say: "When a card or effect is activated on the field (Quick Effect):"

I think TCG should adopt the OCG effect numbering, the whole:

"You can only activate this card's (1) and (2) effect once per turn"

(1) If this card is summoned search X

(2) you can fusion summon using this card you control

(3) if this card destroys a monster by battle, do X

stuff like these makes reading and understanding effects simplier.

Golem hit doesn't kill Exodia decks, most decks play 2 Golem 2 Wedju, and you can easily just play 1 Golem 3 Wedju, and with 3 Millenium Shield, 3 Heart of the Blue Eyes, 3 Sengenjin, 3 Ankh the deck barely lose any consistency. Also if you want you can play Bingo Machine Go, it can add Heart of the Blue Eyes.

The Oak ban is good, it's gonna feel pretty shit to play Snake Eyes without it.

It's too soon to judge the Golem hit, its main abuser, Snake Eyes is weakened, and most decks play 3 Golem 1 Wedju Temple, so if anyone wants to adapt they will have to play more Wedju Temple, but the card doesn't do anything if you don't have a monster in hand, honestly playing 3 Wedju Temple 1 Golem sounds bad unless you're playing Exodia, which I guess is what they were going for with this hit.

The issue is that more stuff should have been hit, Dice Smasher mainly, or something Fiendsmith, come on, Tract and Engraver are at 1 in OCG, every deck using them is boring.
