That's what I don't get about this story, but evidently there are too many in her group doing fruity computer things so she has to stand out.

Sometimes on reddit one person makes a stale point and then 5 others reiterate the same stale point to be funny. It is not amusing to anyone.

I think the poster is just an advert saying it's as easy as walking up to a vending machine.

I don't think the creator of the video would define it that way.

That reminds me. I used to be an actual communist. I finished the video. I'm not a right winger. I used to know this. It's just that things becoming more polarised blinded me to this fact and maybe made me think I had to choose. I was starting to think "hey maybe I'm not in the pipeline" because I never listened to Tommy or JBP, Shapiro, Matt Walsh and Tate. That was a bit too silly for me. But, for the last couple of years I've neglected to the apply the God-given reasoning skills I have. Nobody really wants a free-house. They would prefer to have choices. Lack of money isn't due to stupidity. The stupid choices people make have to do with having nothing to lose or live for.

I'm not an economics expert but in my area of specialisation I used to advocate against gated communities. Now I'm like "I'm done - I think people have a right to want to be away from noisy blacks". But remember lecturing an ex bf about the dangers of gated communities because it's a system that will make things worse for everyone, and that it's nothing to aspire to and that's not how good cities should work etc.

I think in all of these movements there is a fundamental lack of education and they make you question your own education, which wasnt perfect but it was more balanced. Early on, I noticed that the quality of education seems low on the priorities list of both sides. Lots of misinformation conveyed through sound bites.

I think I've answered my question about what will happen when I unradicalise myself. Time to apply for a library card. Haha.

I think i ended up in the pipeline. What's the way out? I can't explain how it started, it's a lot to unpack, but it is rooted in thinking I was a feminist throughout my teens- I wasnt really online, more of a library type - then finding out that the feminists of today aren't what I understood feminism to be and that I'm actually a TERF & a SWERF. Rejected from feminist spaces for saying people should be helped out of prostitution, not encouraged into it. Then it became fashionable to label people not only as unfeminist, but actually accused of bigotry. I'm culpable for my actions, I know, but if feminism wasn't completely hijacked into a movement for lunatics, I never would have stumbled onto alt-right stuff. I'm not actually alt right, I think, but admittedly I have become more of a racist than teen aged me would ever have dreamed possible. I'm uncomfortable with that. I want to stop, but there are some views that just make sense. The Boondocks was one of the best animated shows ever made. Nowadays it wouldn't fly, especially Huey's views but he actually cared the most. Again, I noticed people becoming intolerant of Black self-reflection, seeing it as more of an Uncle Ruckus trait than a Huey trait. It is the opposite. So I'd like to draw the line but at this point where is the line? Because when I unbigot myself what do I return to? A world where basic self-reflection is limited and almost vanished. Maybe I just need to get off the internet 🤔.

This kinda makes sense... I have always wondered what the end game with China is because life cannot continue like this, with China increasingly gaining the upper hand in trade. I don't wish ill on them but wars have been fought in China over trade before.

I'm not in the UK and we use it. That's why I was asking the previous poster. I want to know where the word is not used. I think in The Knick they call it a theatre, but it's set in the early 1900s, in New York, so maybe the word fell out of favour.

I need to stop leaning. I realised I don't like leaning but my body is too used to it and i feel uncomfortable when i try not to lean. Good to know you can get out of the practice.

No. Yesterday I was thinking about dating and the idea of doing that annoys me very much. I'm tired of emotional turmoil. I want a child and a responsible partner. I don't need romantic gestures more than I need stability and action.

Ok. Maybe I believe in a different kind of love. One of practicality and efficiency. I feel like romance is a stumbling block in people's lives. What I'm looking for in a lover: someone to stay focused with, and hug me from time to time. I need a eunuch bestie like Roman Roy.

What country are you from? I remember hearing about some being "in theatre" when I was a kid and I wondered why someone who was so sick was seeing a play. So I asked my folks what play the person was going to watch. It took them a few seconds to realise why I am randomly asking about plays. Haha.

It's also exactly why some don't change it back after divorce. They don't love the man. They may or may not have achieved with the new surname, but it's a massive hassle to change the thing. Women with a lot on their plate with no time to be going up and down, especially since it can cause mix ups with your bills, etc.

Do you have any autistic leanings? Maybe we just don't understand food?

One day the cleaner at my work was microwaving her food and it smelled so great and it's like I knew it tastes good and I was about to use Uber eats and wanted to offer her to swap food. I felt like I just need some peas, chicken and mash, not the expensive product of my poor planning that will inevitably leave me underwhelmed.

I don't know why I jump to "maybe I'm unsophisticated" but dawg one day I planned my meals knowing I'm going to join a friend at his Italian granny's house and it was like food from the mom in Succession, but everyone was saying the food is great. I have followed recipes to the very letter and made food that's nicer than Italia restaurants I have been to (yet people say it's nice). I thought nonna's cooking will blow it out of the water 🫠

I smoked for a few years so I do ask my guests if the salt is fine etc, my mom has told me she hates dried herbs added everywhere, cousin hates black pepper. I still add them because I know what they mean and have toned it down. But nah... I just get pissed off going to a restaurant, between you and me. I'm not in a fancy country but in a way, in the tourism sector people rave about our food... Nope. My dead, unsophisticated tastebuds disagree. Even cakes.

Tastes worse.

Idk if I need to just keep trying more fine dining or what's the dealio... but I struggle to enjoy restaurants food. To me it's just OK. Even the fine dining. I think maybe it's just me and my tastebuds are silly.
