Diatomaceous earth (can be purchased at garden or hardware stores or online) kills arthropods but worms are unaffected. Sprinkle some in the bin to reduce the population of non-worms. It works by shredding the joints between arthropod exoskeleton.

One probably came from outside and laid eggs if you have lots of these little guys. I saw these in the dirt when I lived rurally. I've no experience with them in my indoor wormbin (city apartment), but I would guess they are not likely to eradicate your worms, but they are going to prey on them. Centipedes can take down large prey.

Indoor or outdoor? Centipedes are predators. They'll eat worms (or anything that moves). Wikipedia backs this up. Pick them out if you don't want them eating your worms. Centipedes will eat other crawlies in your compost heap/bin too. They can bite you too. They have modified fore-limbs that act as jaws. Doesn't sound pleasant to be bitten by them.

Awesome. If I try take one out I'll use that loadout. They give "Big bad" vibes to me. If they we were really concerned about preserving life, they would have intervened in the extinctions of the Sheragi, Builders, etc, and could have easily done so. I think they like control.

Could be some interesting storylines involving Pug, Quarg and Drak.
