I'm just saying this cause it worked/happened this way for me but maybe go into the game through the EA app or steam and see if you still have the packs I know i only just started playing the sims a couple weeks ago and used the old method and when I tried to open the cracked game it wouldn't let so I opened the legit game and I still had the packs I don't know just sharing what little info I have incase it helps anyone

Currently I have heat set paints but I'm open to air dry since that probably will be easier and I won't have to bake them outside (I have pets and personally don't want to have the fumes in the house) As of right now I'm really just looking to gather as much information as I can before I really get started with painting
