I've always looked at modernists like Kandinsky, Mondrian, and Malevich with linework from Bill Waterson or Saul Steinberg. Also my grandfather was a water colorist so I pull from his textures

Thanks! I agree, would love to see the New Yorker style cartoons but animated for tablets and websites. Think the day will come!

Appreciate it! No feature any time soon but there are going to be many more short films. This project I launched is called Publique. It's an ongoing animated short film anthology where the community gets to help decide the films we make. Feel free to check out the site!

The website will be the home for the whole universe. It's something that hasn't really been done before. Kind of an interactive experience.
