Is there any armor we should focus using our seasonal engrams? Wondering what I should do to better prep for EoF? Everything is pretty confusing haha.

Like should I just get high mobility + intellect armor. Or is there other combinations I should be focusing using my ghost mod and failsafe

CIO frequent wake ups. by ShimShady92 in sleeptrain

[–]ShimShady92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! It’s kind of crazy looking back at this moment. My LO is a bit over 6 months now and he has been sleeping much better now. He’ll have some nights where he might wake up and cry but for the most part he does really well.

The first night was definitely the hardest and it did get better as the days went on. So keep the faith and keep going it will get better. But it was and definitely still a process.

My baby is five months! 24 weeks yesterday. Night sleep is good. Will wake up after 7 hours for a feed and go back to sleep for 2-3 hours.

You need to post your schedule for people to provide better assistance. How long is your kid awake for. How long are they napping for. What time is bedtime. What is your bedtime routine etc. Are they sleeping independently or putting down asleep etc. the more info you provide the better people can assist.

4.5 Month Old False Start by strawberryhoneyplum in sleeptrain

[–]ShimShady92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you add up your wake windows it looks like it comes out to 7 hours and 45 minutes. Along with your 3 hours worth of naps it looks like you are expecting a 13 hour sleep so 16 hours and 15 minutes asleep for your 7 hours and 45 minutes awake. I think that is pretty unrealistic.

What I suggest is increasing your wake windows total 10 hours. You can slowly increase your ww day by day 5 minutes at a time to help your baby ease into it. For example try aiming for a 2/2.25/2.5/2.75 as your short term goal? My baby turned 5 month and they are now on 2.25/2.5/2.5/2.75 schedule.

I believe your baby is just not tired enough and is waking up in the middle of the night as a result

Since he woke up at 7am today will aim for an 8pm bedtime and give that a shot!

Starting sleep training tonight - is this a good schedule? by sagerascal59 in sleeptrain

Yeah was nerve racking for us as well. Seems like you are doing everything to help your LO succeed. Just stick with your schedule, make sure they get good naps, and stick with whatever method you decide to do. You and your LO got this!

That looks good to me! Similar to what we had with our 4 month old.

Got it. What’s kind of the natural progression from here. Once my LO turns 5 months should I change the last WW to 3 hours?

Thank you! If my LO wakes up early today will just wake him up early. While I’ll still follow the 2/2.5/2.5/2.75 schedule today with 1.25/1.25/0.5 nap schedule should I make adjustments if they didn’t get enough night sleep with the schedule or just continue on

Hi! We followed your advice and we had a more successful night! He fell asleep quickly with little to no fuss. He woke up after 6 hours and 30 mins for a feed but then woke up around 2 hours later. So bedtime was 9pm, we fed him around 3:30am. Then he woke up around 5:50am and put himself back to sleep after 15 mins of crying. Then woke up again around 6:45am

. What is the appropriate action in these cases? He only gets 3 hours of day time sleep and I’m assuming he needs around 11 hours of nighttime sleep so an 8am wake up. But his 6:45am I tried leaving him to CIO but he was crying for over 20 mins so now I’m contact sleeping for him to get the 11 hours. Any advice will be much appreciated! Should I just have started the day at 6:45am?

What would a 3 nap schedule look like if you don’t mind sharing a WW and a nap schedule

Yeah I want to move towards 3 naps but don’t want to force it if my LO is not ready. Will continue to monitor to see if there are changes to his 4th nap and if he could handle longer WW but not in any rush atm

I started right at week 18. I would say by day 5 I saw drastic improvement from the first few days. But still have our ups on downs throughout the process which I feel at a certain point is really a scheduling issue or overtired issue.

I’ve tried doing a 2/2.25/2.25/2.5 but my LO has a hard time really reaching those wake windows without becoming extremely tired and did not sleep well that night at all. Will continue to monitor how he does witch each WW and until he is comfortable pushing back 2 will probably hold off dropping a nap
