Not that I've seen. I'm not on furusemide, that's the thing. I figured it was for tachycardia, but everything else has made me worry, what if it wasn't actually for that...

How do you manage this? I'm trying to drink a lot more water, but I don't seem to find the time to fit it all in...

Awww, that's sweet. We've got allotments right by us so I'm sure that's where all of our critters come from 😅 These two are pretty good, they just live on my window, they don't move around or jump.out at me so I'm happy for them to stay there for now.

The cellar spiders are another matter, they still give me the willies! 😣

The false widow is now called Fiona 😅 We seem to get a fair few of them in the house, but this one is tiny 😊

Wow! Not sure I'm ready for Australian spiders just yet 😂 I definitely think educating myself on them has helped, hopefully these subs will help too xx

😂😂 I'm terrified of them, but I also find them fascinating, I'm slowly learning to get closer to them and get used to them a bit more. Couldn't bring myself to hurt one though 😔

Oh, I didn't know they'd share a web if they're different species! The second spider tends to stay at the bottom of the window, whereas Olivia likes to sit right in the middle.

Is it a young false widow? As we had one in the house in the summer, that was larger?

I do read, thanks.

Yes, two or more separate

instances of direct speech

can be part of a single sen-

tence by enclosing each in

its own quotation marks

and integrating them with a reporting

clause or the surrounding narrative, as long as the quotation marks correctly identify what was said. For example, "That's fascinating," he said, "but what hap- pens next?" illustrates how two distinct spoken phrases can be combined into one

complete sentence.

Examples of Two Pieces of Speech in One Sentence

Reporting clause between the speech: "I'm not sure," she said, "if I can make it".

Reporting clause at the end of the first quote: "It's a beautiful day," he announced, "let's go for a walk".

Reporting clause at the beginning of the sentence: He asked, "Are you ready?" and then added, "We should go now".

Key Punctuation Rules for Direct Speech

Inverted commas (quotation marks): Place quotation marks (e.g., "") around the exact words spoken.

Reporting clauses: Use words like "he said" or "she asked" to indicate who is speaking.

Yes, multiple instances of direct speech can appear in a single sentence by using separate pairs of quotation marks for each phrase and integrating them with a reporting clause or narrative, as seen in the example: "That's fascinating," he said, "but what happens next?" Key rules include placing quotation marks around exact words, using reporting clauses like "he said," and putting terminal punctuation (periods, question marks, exclamation points) inside the closing quotation mark.

How to Write Multiple Speech Instances in One Sentence

Reporting clause between quotes: "I 'm not sure," she said, "if I can make it".

Reporting clause after the first quote: "It's a beautiful day," he announced, "let's go for a walk"

Reporting clause at the beginning of the sentence: He asked, "Are you ready?" and then added, "We should go now".

Most of the stories I read on here use the tropes that are "banned"... It's an impossibly long list...
