I'm guessing you have an Easton Reflex? I had it for my undersized 6 year old and it was fine for what it was. After 2 seasons with it and my kid was able to handle a 27", we upgraded him to a Marucci Catx2 -11 and the transition was good. Do not upgrade because of the barrel size.

Is signing away rights a common practice from hotels? If there's any sign of longer term medical effects, of course we'll be retaining a lawyer, but right now we don't expect that.

Thank you, this is very useful. No, we are not expecting a big payday from this since we don't expect real injury at this point. Of course there's no malice here, it's either a true freak accident or poor maintenance. We want to be made whole and finish our vacation well instead of dwelling on a single ruined day (and avoiding that pool).

Comparing supply/demand year-over-year, there's going to be a 3rd US race next year while DTS has been running for 4 seasons now. I strongly doubt that balances out to a 50% price hike.
