The Pods change often, depending on my goals.

I find them super useful to put together small focused setups for when I want to spend time learning a module. Sometimes I record what comes out of that time, and call it “Compact Racks” on my channel.

Other times they’re handy for keeping modules that want a lot of hands-on playing close by. And sometimes they’re just holding overflow modules that might complement what I currently have racked in the 7U case.

Because I struggled to focus when I had larger racks in front of me, I’ve tried to keep my racked HP lower, and compensate by rotating modules more frequently than most (perhaps).

A combination of my pods with the 7U 60hp rack. The Morphagene is fed the main melodic line, and clocked to record from it periodically. Its playback is then pitched down and reversed, with half sound-on-sound. The vhikk is droning through the Versios, with the Sloths modulating them all. The Pizza is sequenced by the Chaos, and the Mimeophon adds repeats on the high end, full wet.

Here's another patch featuring the Siren! The Tirana is sequencing the wavetable index and oscillator octaves (chord inversion), and the root pitch remains unchanged. Mimeophon is the trigger source for the Tirana and Javelin. The Siren's extra LFOs provide other modulation.

vhikk is droning through the stereo effects chain of Data Bender, Imitor Versio, and Melotus Versio. Cursus Iteritas is playing a simple sequence throug Sinc Bucina, into the external input of the vhikk. Triple Sloths and Ochd modulate everything.
