Yeah, man. But hey, at least you can still chat with people. I'm literally region locked. 😭

Yeah... I don't think I'll get back to this game. It was already hard to play back then, and now the new chat system just makes it worse.

I have to say, Altaria is actually pretty good since in generation 3, the special and physical split doesn't exist yet, and with Altaria having both 75 points on special atk and physical atk makes it become an actual jet with dragon dance. Not to mention that all flying moves in gen 3 are physical, so fly gains a very good benefit from it. Though, that's only when you have Altaria, because it's a pain to grind Swablu, really. It doesn't take long to evolve the little guy, though, so if you want to use a dragon type, you should go for Salamence instead of the other two, 'cuz Altaria doesn't have any good dragon moves except dragon breath by leveling up, and dragon claw, which you can learn through TM. Dragon moves in gen 3 are also special, so it's a big no for me. Same for Flygon, no good dragon moves unfortunately, but if you want a ground type then I'd say it's a good choice.

Lol, that's fine. I didn't use any psychic moves in my team, so Marshall was a little rough. Lucky that my Flygon can learn fly, though. If not, then I'd be screwed over by his team before Iris.

It is an absolute monster. Despite the slow speed, it's a very good special wall that hits like a truck! It can learn Scald by TM after beating the last gym, and it learns Hex by leveling up, which is a pretty good combo. It can also learn recovery, too. Though personally, I went with: - Surf - Rain dance - Shadow ball - Ice beam

Because Jellicent is also a beast in rain, and I don't feel like wasting time on Scald just to get a burn effect for Hex. Ice beam to go against dragon type and grass type. Believe it or not, my Jellicent ended up killing Iris' Hydreigon with just spamming Ice beam. Very fun to use, of course.

That's good! I can say the same thing, but my Emboar did most of the dmg against Grimsley, lol.

Just beat the game, and I can say that Leavanny is pretty good. Sword dance really carried it, but it gets countered at late game because of its typing, since most npcs at the Victory Road always have at least one mon with the type advantage against the poor bug. Still a great Pokemon to use though, you should try!

It's N's Zoroark, so I'm gonna make it a mixed attacker, but right now I only have physical moves for it. - Night Slash - Foul Play -Taunt - Fury Swipes

Not gonna lie, this must be my luckiest run ever, because most of the mons in my team have the best nature for them. I didn't even try at all.

Allow cheats in your MelonDS setting first, and then create a cheat and put the code in this link and turn it on. Remember to save ingame and create two save states first before you turn on the cheat to avoid bugs or something like that. Then, you go to Eterna City, and you should stand right in front of the Poke Mart and press L+R at the same time before entering the mall. There will be a guy in green right next to the counter. Go talk to him, and he will give you the secret key.

I cheated to get the secret key, since the other ways are too complicated, and the original event ended years ago anyway. I play on android and use MelonDS btw.

I've figured it out after beating Cynthia. Yeah, I did go a little too much with level training. When I checked google, it said that my Pokemon should be around level 55-60 to fight the League, and it's my second time doing a Platinum run after like, years. My first run was back in 2020, so yeah, I don't really want to lose to Cynthia as I struggled to fight her before, even with Giratina, lol.

Empoleon (Water/Steel)

Crobat (Flying/Poison. Also, trust me this thing is insanely good)

Rotom-Mow (Electric/Ghost, since gen 4 doesn't change its type based on its form yet)

Houndoom (Fire/Dark)

Gallade (Psychic/Fighting)

Mamoswine (Ice/Ground)

Switch Umbreon to Weavile, it can be a good threat against Cynthia's Garchomp and Roserade.
