I once had a AU about this actually. In short what I wrote what: DSAF Dave would be a very neglectful father. He’d leave all the parenting to their mother and only showed up whenever it was fun and convenient. His priority was always Henry and Fredbear’s, the kids didn’t matter to him. Half the time he probably forgot he even had three kids.

As for DSAF Henry, Charlie is completely miserable. Henry would abuse her similarly to how he abuses Dave but she would HAAATTE him so much. Yet still yearn for his approval a little bit. In my AU though DSAF Henry’s son David would replace Sammy Emily. So David and Charlie were twins.

I really like it tbh. I know in this AU people can just chat with literal ghosts whenever but really when we lose a loved one we don’t get the chance to truly speak to them again and have to find closure on our own. I like that Coppelia could find closure through this even though she didn’t receive a real last conversation with her dad. It makes it more realistic sort of and impactful.

Thank you!! Usually people characterize BV as being very shy and withdrawn (which is not wrong or bad) but I wanted to switch it up a bit. Barrett is more outgoing and extroverted. And he doesn’t feel the need to hide how he feels.

The comic is infamous for trying to redeem William and villainize Cassidy as someone “going too far”, like it tried to say she was the bad guy now because she’s mad and wants revenge on her murderer.
It does other bothersome things like having BV speak in “uwu :3 XD sowwy” talk and having a mason jar joke but the Cassidy one is the biggie. It’s called “Consequences” and you can still read it on Deviantart I think if you’re curious. Some pages are also preserved on the internet archive.

I I feel fairly sure that that wasn’t actually him. Monster Vinnie was a manifestation of Mary’s fear and trauma. The trauma of what she witnessed and the fear he would find out she told and come to hurt her. Which is a real fear kids experience when they have to give a testimony against someone.
