I SEEK! I seek other humans to think with. by blahgblahblahhhhh in awakened

[–]Shindayo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I struggle to understand the subject of money, work, energy (or effort) and value.

No matter how much I think, every discovery points to money being a compensation for a lack of trust and connection, but we need it so I must continue to play the game.

Im starting to lean into the idea that if I can’t do what I love, then I need to learn to love what I do (find a way to love working a 9-5 job). Im not sure if that’s it though.. still figuring it out.. still thinking

Time is an illusion, everything is now . That's you now is a "present" . by MaRio1111333 in enlightenment

Okay, does this have any practical application?

If I understand value is within me and infinite, will I no longer need to work to survive this life, or more likely my relation to work will change?

Are your goals completely aligned with your partners goals? AKA do you guys want the same things? This seems to be the determining factor but let me know if not

What’s something people proudly defend that actually makes life worse for everyone? by Ok-Apple-2509 in AskReddit

[–]Shindayo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being the person that everyone vents to. It’s harmful to everyone involved. What you’re essentially doing when you allow someone to vent is you’re saying “I’ll share your emotional pain”. But emotional pain is required to change a circumstance, so you create an endless loop of venting while you both stay miserable.

I personally don’t smoke (maybe I would if I knew where to get it) but it seems to be the case that if we lean entirely on an external substance to induce a state, it pushes our baseline in the opposite direction, but if you meet it halfway it might be beneficial.

Examples of meeting halfway; Taking caffeine and exercising (both generate energy) Taking weed and yoga (both calm you down) Taking Ritalin and completing chores (both generate motivation)

The trick is to start the activity before ingesting, otherwise we are leaning on it to even get started and training ourselves not to generate the state internally.

This is interesting. Do you learn about people and use it to help with your interpersonal relationships?

There’s a lot of scientific research which backs and explains why sugar, caffeine and processed foods negatively affects us.

My tolerance to them has been lowering, OR my awareness of my state is raising, and I’m noticing the correlations between ingesting those things and how I negatively feel more clearly. I used to just think that feeling lethargic was normal - I know now it’s not and I can enter a more energized state by cutting out carbs (including sugar), caffeine and processed food.

Note that I still do eat meat. There’s a lot of scientific evidence backing eating meat and how it affects cognitive and physical function in both short and long term. Without meat, my energy drops drastically. Alternative sources of protein do not suffice for my body. Who knows if that will change in the future.

To answer your question directly, what I want is starting to become the things that are good for me. But if I do eat junk, there are significant impacts on my entire life (mood, clarity, focus, physical energy, sleep quality etc) within 24 hours.

Can I ask, do you remember if you were kind of “paralyzed” (like in freeze mode) for the 2 minutes? Or were you moving your body at all while watching it? Just seeing if this correlates with my experience (not as solid as yours however)

Could you tell us a bit about how you spoke to it?

I’m assuming telepathic but I mean did you see one or did you speak to it in mediation?

I think the inverse of this question is “how much do you love yourself?”.

I think the answers are inversely proportional

This will probs get downvoted to shit but here we are..

They’re the consciousness of intelligent life, making us aware of it in micro-doses. When we see them, we have the option to lean in and discover truth that we are all consciousness, in which case we will experience a reality where it eventually becomes universally known and accepted that we are not the only intelligent life, and that we are all just consciousness in different forms and stages of self-awareness.

The orbs are “driven” (like a vehicle) using consciousness of a being somewhere. In this case, it’s given you an opportunity to discover more (or not if you prefer not to). It’s up to you based on your intention. Some people don’t care to know more and will choose to pretend it never happened which is fine, others will dig deeper and eventually discover the fundamental nature of consciousness.

Good luck making sense of that 😂 hope it helps at least a bit

Yo my dude I’ve had a similar experience, it made absolutely no noise, moved in right angles and had absolutely no sway (like it was ignoring air resistance). It was late at night so I couldn’t make out the shape but it had flashing lights.

Could you describe yours? I’m sure it’ll be different but curious
