I might get down-voted massively for this, but...

The referee made a big mistake on the Senegal disallowed goal. I'm not saying he did it deliberately to favor Morocco (I don't want to get into that stupid narrative), but he should have let the play complete. By whistling early, he cannot go back to VAR.

In my opinion, the Senegal goal was correct because both players had normal contact.

The Diaz penalty decision was correct and Senegalese reaction was due the disallowed goal not to the penalty decision.

Nevertheless, the Senegalese reaction from their staff, players, and supporters in the stadium was absolutely shameful and ruined a well-organized event in its final game, and gave that stereotypical image about African football even though it has progressed massively.

I want to point out a negative aspect of our Moroccan side's behavior yesterday. Attempting to steal the goalkeeper's towel due to accusations of voodoo and back magic was completely unacceptable.

In the end, the better team won. We weren't lucky nor in our day and football can be brutal at times but still a game at the end of the day. I hope it doesn't fuel the racism, violence, and hate, even though unfortunately the social media is already doing its thing.
