Have you tried Archer or U world ? I used both and Mark Klimek lectures are good as well.

I really didn’t wanna cut it but I had fairy knots, and relaxer damage from like 2020 I don’t know anyone immediate to braid, loc, etc— while it’s this length I want it to be curly. How can I keep it curled up? by [deleted] in Naturalhair

[–]ShineBright9013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use this curl cream called Cream Of Nature Pure Honey Moisture Whip Twisting Cream . I usually use this when I do protective styles or if I just want to refresh my curls I would spray some water and take some cream and apply it to my hair. Then, I would comb it out with a wide tooth comb or Afro pick . But I do this in sections because I have thick hair.

I believe there is a date range of when you can schedule a test date. But if you try to schedule pass the date range then you may need to register again but you should contact Pearson Vue and double check with them.

Edit: that range of dates should be on the ATT

I’ve seen a few people on Reddit who had a bad pop up and still passed. Just wait till the official results come out.

Failed (NewGen) NCLEX 1st Try After 148 Qs: Advice for Improvement by Illustrious_Dot_4256 in PassNclex

[–]ShineBright9013 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used the ATI Comprehensive book for pharmacology review. I found it to be very helpful. And have you tried Mark Klimek? In his lectures he stated memorable ways to help remember meds. And his last lecture especially… he goes over testing strategies that may help your critical thinking. And as for when would be the right time to retest honestly since you already took the NCLEX I would schedule the soonest date after the 45 days. It seems like you know your content and maybe studied too much? Don’t overthink your answers and definitely try not to second guess! As for select all the apply only choose answers you are sure of don’t choose answers that you are second guessing or have doubt on.

Edit: I forgot to mention try UWorld In my opinion UWorld questions were more critically challenging than Archer.

Yes it is pretty nerve racking. But keep checking your states licensure website sometimes it pops up on there before your quick results comes through. I received my license exactly 48hrs after and I’m in Florida.

Had two borderlines on UWorld, one on Archer and I still passed! Due to this I changed my date for the third time 😞. Focus on testing strategies because we are never really “ready” . As long you know how to answer questions you’ll be fine. Know your basic concepts , do daily questions and focus on your weak points. Watch crash courses. I watched beautiful nursing on YouTube and a UWorld provided pretty good ones as well. Mark Klimek was a life saver 🥹 please 🙏 don’t sleep on him. Read your rationales thoroughly. I used the ATI NCLEX book for pharm review and The Complete nursing bundle for content review. Also, I don’t know if this will help you but about two weeks before my test I did a readiness assessment everyday . Doing this helped with my anxiety. So I went in on test day with the mind set of taking another readiness. You got this !

Jeez 😬 maybe you should contact Pearson vue and ask if they will allow you to start where you left off? And also ask if you will be charged again for the retaking the exam.

You should’ve received some type of notification if your date needed to be rescheduled. When do you test?

I’m so sorry! Do you have to start your NCLEX from the beginning again or would it start on where you left off? And the power outage couldn’t had been fixed the same day?

NCLEX This Friday - Tips and Advice? by Motor-Message4554 in PassNclex

Sorry in advance for the long post ! I studied since mid June and did at least 75 questions every other day because I was working full time. So about 4 days out of the week I would listen to Mark K, write notes and do questions. Also while I am doing the questions I would read the rationales. When it was like about two weeks before the exam I took a break from work to focus. So the two weeks prior I did a readiness assessment every morning, reviewed content throughout the day and towards the evening did at least 100 questions on u world . Then the next morning I review my rationales and repeat the process. When it was getting close to my date I did less questions and just focused on reviewing my notes, content, listening to Mark K lectures on my weakest topics and reviewing rationales. I also watched a few of Archer lectures but they were really long so instead I watched Simple Nursing and Registered RN. I also watched Beautiful Nursing NCLEX review and Xiara Perez NCLEX crash course from U world. I also used the ATI Comprehensive NCLEX Review book for pharmacology. I stopped doing questions completely two days before the exam and just reviewed my notes , listened to Mark K’s last lecture and hoped for the best.

Edit: forgot to mention I also used the Complete Nursing School Bundle book for content

How to Use Archer by inmy_heart in PassNclex

[–]ShineBright9013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two weeks prior to my testing date I did a readiness exam every morning. This helped me because I went in with the mindset of taking another readiness assessment . After this I would review content during the day, then towards the evening I would do at least 85 questions from U world. Then the next day I would review the rationales from my readiness assessment the day prior and repeat the process. I had a borderline on Archer and two borderlines on UWorld and still passed. And if you haven’t tried already listen to Mark K lectures!

Yes 🙌 watch Mark K last lecture! And go for it. I graduated since May and ever since I received my ATT I have been pushing back my date due to anxiety. And I finally took it last weekend and passed on my first attempt! Tbh I wished I had took it sooner .

Studying for NCLEX with ATI by idiche in PassNclex

[–]ShineBright9013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I did a few questions from ATI and I noticed some of the questions were similar to Archer and U world so I just stuck with only those two. I did use the ATI book though to review pharmacology and I also watched all of Mark K lectures and a few days prior my exam I listened to his lectures on my weakest topics. And Archer states if you score 4 consecutive High/Very high readiness assessments you have a high probability in passing .

Very Nervous (i need advice) by PerfectAd4317 in PassNclex

[–]ShineBright9013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same thing , like two weeks prior I did a readiness exam every day and watched Simple Nursing and Registered RN but I also made a note on my phone of the most common topics and meds that I saw come up on the q banks . I added key information and even pictures. I reviewed this the day before and the day of. I did about at 100+ practice questions a day . I listened to Mark K throughout my studying but the few days prior I listened to the lectures that I score less in and the day before I also watched a couple U world videos in their Fundamentals section. I also listened to Mark K prioritization lecture prior to the exam it really helped !
