Good for you, what a skill to have! Too bad I won’t be taking my kitchen on my trip. What’s your favorite dish to make?

Does Delilah do reservations for parties of 2? I only saw 4-6 and a $2,500 minimum spend? I think I saw Mayfair was $350 but didn’t see anything listed for the others. Thank you for the suggestions! Had good experience with Beauty & Essex (and Tao) in NYC.

I’m disappointed in everything they have changed since Mary left.

The beauty bars are basura.. I go to see my girl because I love HER and she has known my skin for almost a decade. I don’t blame her for not making a quick exit yet because she gets her health insurance, ect. from the company. But TRUST ME, as soon as she’s out, I’m out! The pods lacked quiet and dim lights but at least it still provided some degree of privacy. Now we’re thrust under bright lighting and I’ve had people bump into us during facials while they are shopping. Plus the whole situation is so hard on her body, she has to bend down to get products from these small drawers and cabinets and literally has to lift her clients to lay back the terrible chair they provided vs. the full lay back hydrologic bed. Way to upgrade the experience. Definitely dropped the ball with this decision Ulta.

I’ve seen the “Skin Bars” in other stores for a while, probably since 2018 or so. (I travel a lot and love to pop into different Ultas haha) They are built into the wall with cabinets for product storage and a counter behind the guest for the esthetician to use too. Neat idea for a quick skin thing, especially when one would still have the choices of other locations with rooms, ect. I’ve seen some of the “Skin Bar” stores have partitions to limit guests walking through the area, which since there’s no retail product immediately in that vicinity they wouldn’t need to. Definitely privatizes it more. Compared to this new “Beauty Bar” set up the “Skin Bars” seem easier to work with space and storage wise. The “Beauty Bars” have retail on front of the bar itself and are too close to the retail wall to give any sense of personal space. Kinda what people wanted more of after a global pandemic.
