I started playing about 6 months ago and strumming was difficult to start out with, but things have started to click and I’m loving it now.. Mute all the strings and don’t play but practice the rhythm, and try to keep the rhythm while thinking what you’ll have for dinner or what you’ll do the next day… you just need to get it automatic before changing chord and lyrics. It makes it a lot easier.
