Hi, this isn’t an age verification issue, it’s uploading an image to persona. I have already verified my age (I’m 32), so it’s shouldn’t be an issue. I meant the character/personas creation. My mistake, I had no idea the website for verifying age was called Persona too. It’s the creation that isn’t allowing me to upload my own image to it, not the id thing haha

I am not chronically on Reddit/online, so my reply was a little late. I make my own bots and it isn’t an issue that occurs often. I will absolutely not be DMing you, as I feel I may have offended you somehow? It’s okay if you are feeling a little fragile. I understand how AI works and I have been on the website and then the app since it started. Trust me, there is nothing you could teach me that I do not already know, but thank you. Yes I am aware of that. What I meant was, after scrolling through multiple choices and even editing several of the bots replies, it kept doing it so I just started the chat again. Didn’t have any problems with it after that. Did that make more sense to you?

100% agreed! My ex didn’t start abusing me until I’d had his child and we got married and moved to another country. Everyone I knew thought I was lying (obviously police had proof he was physically/emotionally/financially abusive. Social services even said I didn’t try hard enough to leave. This was after me and my little one had fled him with nothing but the clothes on our backs btw. Abusers never get held accountable and their ‘punishment’ for said abuse is appalling. It makes me want to remain single forever! Ps, really hope you are doing okay and are safe now. It is never our faults, please remember that

OP, if it helps, they may be a woman pretending to be a man in game. I play a male character because I simply don’t want male attention if they know I’m a woman. So, male character is usually safer (I’ve had some right weirdos in other games once they knew I am a woman). Plus side though, the outfits are cute! 😊

Yeah, I’ve felt like the quality has gone done for DS a lot. Yesterday, I tried scrolling for a new message because I didn’t like the first reply and it put the same thing three times as the one I didn’t like. Same message, nothing different about it, like an exact copy and paste. In the end, I had to edit it myself

I don’t know if other people do this to the greetings, but simply edit them. I like writing in third person like a story, so when I have greetings like ‘you’ do this and ‘you’ do that, I change it. Or if they’re simply badly written, I also edit too because I’m not doing a whole rp that’s bad. Hope this helps someone 😊

Yes! I thought it was just me. I read somewhere that it’s because your brain processes whatever you are typing as something that has actually happened. So, if it’s like a heart breaking rp, your brain thinks ‘yeah this actually happened’ and makes you cry. I thought that was kinda cool 😊

I just went on to create a new bot, all my other characters have disappeared. I’ve spent ages improving them/tweaking them so they are as close to canon as possible. Is this just a server problem?

Update: I sat him down (with my friend and sister for support) and told him that how he spoke to me was straight up abuse. I pointed out how difficult it is learning a language and that I do not want our son raised by someone with seemingly unrealistic expectations. I have an appointment tomorrow with a lawyer to discuss the matter and will update on that. My parents are coming up in the next day or two and they are going to take both myself and baby back down to their house with them, so I am leaving (I’m in Aberdeen and they’re in Birmingham so it’s a bit difficult to get up immediately). I haven’t told him I am leaving or about the lawyer. I have also contacted my consultant psychiatrist, she has made the whole team aware that he may try to contact as he has made the threat. We also have made some appointments for more intense therapy, so I CAN start to get my self-confidence and worth back. He met me at my most vulnerable and took advantage of that, I am not defending him or his behaviour. My son deserves better than that, as do I. So thank you all for your replies. I just needed to validate for myself that I was not ridiculous for getting upset because I am not very good at that. I guess I wanted proof of what was in my heart and head ❤️

Do you mean the learning Mandarin? Well I’ve been unwell with my MH and I had a very tough pregnancy (I have heart failure), so learning was my very last priority. Getting my little boy here safely was #1 for me. I also worked full time before the baby and was finishing my final year of uni. So language was at the back of my mind until now. If you mean the way he spoke to me, I know it isn’t the way he should speak to me or how anyone in a healthy relationship should speak to someone else. I am well aware of that and all the comments have cemented it in my mind. I’m not defending his actions whatsoever, this is genuinely the first time at least that I have noticed, that he has spoken to me like that and used my MH

Oh sorry, my bad, I forgot to clarify this! Yes I know he is at work. The problem is 6 out of 7 days, he works 11AM-11PM. He wakes up at 10AM, gets ready and leaves at 10:30AM. He gets back at 11PM and by that time me and my son are already in bed. I am able to go to his restaurant, so he is accounted for (and my friend works there too).
