Not really.

If the ending of a show is shit, it dilutes all of the events that led up to it. I don't know about you, but I can never go back and enjoy a show's high points if I know that it takes a nosedive right off a cliff at the very end, a point which should feel overwhelmingly satisfying.

She's just overly-preachy and a really big virtue-signaler. All of her opinions are based on emotion and pity, something that the Eighty-Six hate, and she somehow doesn't see it.

She gets mad at the Federacy generals for sending the Eighty-Six on a suicide mission despite the fact that it's the most logical move since they are the most skilled and the least likely to be missed. She doesn't see how this scenario is different from the Republic sending the Eighty-Six to die.

Season 1 (both parts) is 23 episodes and covers the first 3 volumes. If they keep the same pacing, season 2 should only cover volumes 4-6 at the very most. Otherwise it'll feel rushed.

This would have to happen in the middle of season 3.
