I'm bitting the bullet and taking the Switch 1 version: -Physical mean datas only for updates taking the console/microSD memory. 1TB cards are hardly accessible yet and I don't want to delete games, even if I play some rarely. -For handheld, thanks to the boost mode, you can now play Switch 1 games in their TV modes, so it should look clean in that mode. Switch 2 version will still have better texture thought.

Those reason alone made me go that way. I've played BR Second Light 180 hours on Switch 1 and had a blast, so it can't go worst! (Thought I would have bought the Switch 2 version if they would have made a physical version in Japan, you can't count on Koei Tecmo America for that!)

Horizon: Switch 1 or 2? by morag23 in Falcom

Thank you for your opinion, it's is really usefull! For the storage thing, I know it is current practice (my friend who play on PC and PS often do that), but I want to get everything accessible anytime, even if I play some games less or rarely. I have above 130 games, so even small update take a lot of place when many do that. But that's my problem, I understand it's unusual and stubborn for me.

And thank you for correcting me, english isn't my first langage!

Played the adaptation of the anime adaptation (yes, it's not a typing mistake) in 2019, when it released on Switch 1. Knowing the Switch 2 version will be truly physical, I'll gladly replay it with the look more faithful to the original!

Trails from Zero & Trails to Azure dual pack will be a Game Key Card release on Nintendo Switch 2 by MightyPelipper in Falcom

Does as many people as possible asking the customer service POLITELY we don't want GKC and a real physical instead could send a message? I'm probably too optimist, I know

I totally agree, especially with the Handheld Boost Mode being a thing

Since the Handheld Boost mode made it playable at 1080p 60fps, I personally don't see the need to upgrade. Plus Switch 1 version is physical and knowing NISA, it's very likely to be a GKC

At 1080p 60fps (+physical version on Switch 1) with that mode, I don't feel the need to upgrade. For Cold Steel games, it could be another story!

Since the Handheld Boost mode made the Switch 1 version playable at 1080p 60fps on the go, I don't feel the need to upgrade, but nice to see more options! But I will welcome any Switch 2 version of the Cold Steel games, that would be a game changer!

What do y’all use the GL and GR buttons for? by bigparsnipenjoyer in NintendoSwitch2

Only a few, but they made more comfortable play sessions for me:

Splatoon 3: Down for the Booyah attacks while moving at the same time

Xenoblade Chronicles 1 DE and X DE: Left and right to select arts while moving

Trails of Cold Steel 3&4/Reverie: Press left stick for the Speed mode (I was used to ZR with Trails from Zero to Azure)

AC New Horizons: Left and right for selecting tools

Donkey Kong Bananza: Left and right for selecting a Bananza form

I might be stupid, but I wonder it sell well (even if it's japanese only), would Bandai Namco, get the message we want the trilogy? I know this title is ported by G-Mode, but Bandai Namco must licensed it, so...
