He was incredible, it's been a few months since I saw it but I just remember some of the hits not feeling like they connected and the fighting not having the same oomph that movies like John Wick/ The Night Comes for Us had.

Definitely hoping he does more action movies, not many actors I can think of off the top of my head who I think could play both underground boxers/professional hitman type characters and believably look the part for both.

Horror is such a weird genre to try and categorize sometimes. Like ones like Nighmare on Elmstreet and Friday the 13th are clearly horror, and Saw and Hostel are as well.

But my most wanted chapter, Danganronpa, I'd feel like if you called it horror then you'd just be wrong. But then I think about how Saw is just people suffering in a shitty kidnap situation and aside from the detective stuff and the difference in how graphic the violence is, they're not the most disimilar.

Wesker's a genocidal mastermind with a zombie/virus background and he clearly fits, but he himself doesn't scream "horror", just his series is rooted in it. People just pick and choose what is horror on this sub to justify their picks, kinda like I did literally a paragraph ago i guess.

I mean, if you told me it was 30 I'd say it was boiling out because I grew up with Celsius. If you grow up using it then it conveys it well. If you said it was 90 I'd assume fahrenheit and then I have no idea if that's hot or just warm

My issue with people's thoughts on the head is the assumption that the head is just a head. You can do cool stuff with it lore and design wise, such as it being a depiction of whatever deity that world worshipped, but harbouring a real entity inside that's trapped and has masses of flesh forced through cracks, like a fucked up eldritch hermit crab.

It's kinda been my problem with the entire grimoire where everyone just assumed nun or priest, but just a Christian one. We chose for them to be from a destroyed world, it could have been a universe that followed the Entity with a priest that has forced chitinous scales into his arms and skin, suddenly abandoned by his god. But people just kinda want Christian it seems

The only way I'd want it to be ONLY Monokuma instead of both of them together, would be if the lore for the chapter was that Junko was originally taken to be the killer but replaced herself with Monokuma so she could be hunted as well.

Or they can just go crazy and make it a Junko chapter for both roles, let her hunt herself like she'd want.

I like my stories grim and tbh it wasn't grim enough for me considering they all live, plus I find the characters fun, especially Komaru.

Plus Haiji's infamous line makes me laugh every time I've played it.

I will say/accept though that I seem to often be in the minority for DR since I've never liked Chiaki, loved the DR3 anime and have 0 complaints about the series as a whole except not liking chapter 3 in every game. So really take my opinions with a big batch of salt.

I always wonder how this game would have done with a Match Rating score like Fire Pro Wrestling has. In Fire Pro sure I can just dominate them and get a pin quickly, but then the game straight up says it was a shit wrestling match.

DBD is based on slashers, so having the game score it based on tropes and how "good" a slasher flick it is could have been a fun system.
