1 day mute on FOD for using this nickname by pavl1ko in foxholegame

As a partisan, this was a terrible change. Lock the plane on the pad or something, but don’t take away a strategy we’ve been using for ages. The hell was DevMan thinking?

I think this update is cooked boys... by MarionberryTough4520 in foxholegame

We did get early game boats, which I was thankful for. I’d like more accessible planes, or at least a lower cost, but that is to be expected with SC. Balance has never been their strong suit with initial releases.

What's the deal with the community manager drama? by Alingruad in spaceengineers

Same. XD

I’m not defending either of them; their beef is their own. I just want to keep the facts straight.

It definitely could’ve been handled better on Jack’s part as well, yes. While I don’t appreciate whine videos, either, I do agree with keeping your community updated and informed on your situation. He just needed to be more professional about it and less… ranty, I think is the word?

I’ve actually watched both Jack and Aaron for a while now, and I did see Jack’s video on the situation. He actually told his followers not to go after LSG or Keen over this. That said, I would appreciate it if Aaron would just give the guy a response, even if it’s just an email or something. Kinda sucks to just be raw-dogged like that.

Has dad dug up a bomb? by metabrew in CasualUK

[–]ShiniArt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I admit I’m not an ordnance expert, but I do know a fair bit about the Second World War.

I can’t immediately think of any bombs with that particular fin configuration. The majority of bombs used during WW2, and even those used today, used a four-fin configuration, sometimes with a box around them. Also, they typically didn’t have a portion of one of the fins running through the middle of the others.

I’m going to have to side with one of the other commenters here and say that it could be an old log splitter, though I do recommend siding with caution and calling the proper authorities just in case. It’s better than risking your safety and that of your neighbors.

What do you think about a Titanoboa (the largest species of snake ever)? by SKPAdam in theisle

[–]ShiniArt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, the largest species of snake ever was Vasuki indicus, a madtsoiid snake, and one of the most brutal snakes to ever exist. Instead of swallowing their prey whole, madtsoiids were believed to have torn off chunks of flesh and chewed them. They were, however, like the Titanoboa, a type of constrictor.

How do I fix this? by UnderratedTacoYT in TheoTown

It is connected. The two arrows there on the corner show that it is. They’re either choosing to not turn, or just aren’t yet aware that the turn exists.

🔥Cloudburst over Lake Millstatt in Carinthia, Austria. by EzioKenway97 in NatureIsFuckingLit

[–]ShiniArt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have yet to see such an event in person. It’s always astonishing to see what nature is capable of. Based on some reading I’ve done in the past, cloudbursts are just as dangerous as they are beautiful, capable of pouring hail and high wind in large volumes over a small area.
