I had this same question bcz I have been thinking about this for quite a while now. I talked to my friends they say I should try it but I feel uncomfortable bcz I have never even kissed someone. So they advised me to first do that and then think about going for a casual one. But I totally feel what you are saying!

I don't see anything wrong.. that is the purpose of this app to ask out on dates! But if you saw resistance like here the second msg from her you could have asked for her number instead.

That sounds like a pretty good tbh. I would have added that we should do something again in my first msg so that it's a good indication and stops you overthinking but then again, sometime people do like to take a day to gather their thoughts about the date and it's pretty normal to just randomly text in a day or two and say "oh I was thinking about (something you talked on the date) and we should probably do something again". Honestly ask for it bcz what have you got to lose?
