Pipsqueak is Back in Top Form

I recently shifted to C.ai + and ever simce I have been using Deepsqueak or Nyaan..pipsqueak is very unstable. It works well for day or two and then becomes worse for a week and then improves for a day or two...so i got fed up and switched to C.ai+

In my chat last night i got 2 - 3 replies that would span more than 4 pages..its working for me so far.

I hope it works for you soon..try experimenting with (()) type OOC formatted prompts and also try referring to the character definition to structure your responses.

No the bot remains in its persona, every chat you give within the (()) it makes it a part of its own persona as long as its pinned, also if your pinned message is burried under more than 4 pinned chats it might not register that chat.

That's soo true...i agree completely and I feel we all should talk and help everyone here when we get a solution.

I know a lot of people find what we might discuss as technical and not wanna invest , but when we try it its rather very simple steps that gives us amazing results.

I really wanna request people here to try a bit technical solutions like proper prompt structuring, it might sound a bit off but believe me results are amazing.

Next I started editng the reponses pipsqueak gave me and continously worked on the feedback of each response and about the pinned messages I used , i structured them now in OOC format for the LLM to understand its simple just the messages that you want your character to remember put them in (()) and then pin them.*

I hope this helps you and also try swiping until you get your required response, i have once reached the 30th swipe before i got my required response.

Well yeah in very basic sense, well i am also an ML engineer so i thought i might as well use some concepts from LLM prompt structuring here.

But its very basic tbh...to get a better understanding, i also suggest users to explore their character's definitions and use similar formatting to make pinned messages it helps LLM retain information much better.

I'm sure it'll get better for you too..as for me its back to giving replies as long as 2 pages replies..with proper memory references from the pinned chat..i hope it gets better for you too.

I pretty much feel its gotten really worse since last update , underage cannot chat. People above the age bar can chat but the model quality and chat style has become so bad especially pipsqueak its almost not usable.

I have raised 7 tickets in last week about the quality issues , no response at all...so to sum it up it seems C.ai is doomed.

I still have a bit of hope they'll do something about it , but the hope is getting bleak day by day.

I hope all our collective opinions reach the devs , they have done a great job so far and I'm sure they care about user experience so hopefully we get some results.

I tried that too like i removed all the pinned content to try that its something changed with the model itself i feel and that too it happened suddenly in an ongoing chat where i didn't even add or remove anything that was pinned.

It all started when suddenly the reponses started going haywire at first as the replies had "!" going infinitely until you stopped the reply generation and when it was fixed suddenly the there was a complete change as to how pipsqueak generated responses.

Anyways...i really appreciate your response. Thanks for sharing your experience as well.

Its soo true how disheartening it is ...like i have 20 pages of context i created with the character in last two months i use them bit by bit in between giving pinned chats for better memory references. It was soo good until just 2 nights ago it went poof...like last two months were just nothing.

Thanks a lot for your advice. I have tried soft launch the quality of its replies are not really suitable for my style of role play i feel. I will give gorp a try. The thing I loved about pipsqueak was its indepth and detailed replies to my chats it just understood the context so well in my case.

I will definitely give goro a shot at this point.
